VinFast is one of the youngest brands in the Indian market. The brand entered the Indian market last year with two electric SUVs. VinFast is a popular brand from Vietnam, and as part of its expansion plans, it is slowly introducing EVs one after the other that are already on sale in many international markets. The latest launch from the brand was the VinFast MPV7, and it also launched its cab services in the market. Apart from this, here we have a list of three upcoming electric cars that VinFast is planning to launch in the Indian market.

VinFast, as mentioned above, is a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer. It currently lacks an affordable entry-level model in India. The VF3 will change that. It is actually a micro SUV with a retro-car-like exterior design. It is a popular vehicle in many markets due to its unique looks and affordable price.
It is a small city EV that is meant for busy urban roads and narrow lanes. Its compact size will make it extremely easy to drive and park in cities. The VF3 gets a boxy, rugged-looking exterior design. It is actually a small hatchback that is designed to look like an SUV. It is only marginally larger than the MG Comet EV.
It is expected to come with a very basic-looking cabin with minimal features. The VinFast VF3 is available with multiple battery pack options internationally. There is an 18.64 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of around 210 km, along with larger 29.6 kWh and 37.2 kWh battery packs with a claimed range of up to 326 km. There is no confirmation on which variant will make its way to India.

Next is the compact electric SUV that would sit right between the VF3 and the VF6. It is a sub-4-metre electric SUV that would rival the likes of the Tata Nexon.ev, Mahindra XUV400, and MG Windsor EV. The exterior design of the VF5 is similar to existing VinFast models as it gets signature V-shaped LED DRLs, sleek headlamps, a sporty front bumper, flared wheel arches, integrated roof rails, 17-inch alloy wheels, and more.
The SUV is expected to come with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a PM 2.5 air filter, voice commands, keyless entry, automatic headlights, and a sunroof. It would be offered with 29.6 kWh and 37.23 kWh battery pack options. The 29.6 kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of 268 km, while the larger 37.23 kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of around 326 km.

VinFast recently filed a design patent for the VF8 electric SUV in India. It is actually the heavily updated next-generation VF8. While there is no confirmation regarding its launch from the brand, there are reports that point towards the possibility of a launch in the near future.
When launched, the VF8 will sit above the VF7. In terms of design, the VF8 gets an aggressive look and uses VinFast’s new “Tech Fluid” design philosophy. It comes with signature VinFast wing-shaped LED DRLs along with a wide gloss-black trim element. It also gets large air channels in the bumper. In terms of dimensions, the VF8 measures 4,701 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height. It also boasts a wheelbase of 2,840 mm and rides on 19-inch alloy wheels. Ground clearance stands at 170 mm.
The SUV will be offered with a massive 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that controls almost all the features in the car. It will also offer a digital instrument cluster, a column-mounted shifter, a voice assistant, dual-zone climate control, an air purification system, powered front seats with memory function, reclining rear seats, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, and an eight-speaker audio system.
The VF8 is offered with a 60.13 kWh battery pack that generates 228 bhp and 330 Nm of torque. It offers a claimed driving range of up to 500 km.
