After the VF6 and VF7, Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast is now preparing to launch an all-new electric MPV in the Indian market. The company has been testing this MPV for quite some time, and it looks like, with this new model, VinFast will also mark its entry into the taxi segment. The upcoming MPV 7 will be offered for both private buyers and fleet operators in India. VinFast has now released an official teaser of this upcoming MPV before its official launch.
In the images we see the silhouette of the upcoming MPV and the focus here is on the space. VinFast is calling it the new playroom. By this the brand is boasting about the interior space and how this is suitable for people who love spending time with family.
The VinFast MPV 7, or Limo Green as it is known in many international markets, is a 7-seater electric MPV. The official launch of the VinFast Limo Green is expected to take place in April this year. As mentioned above, with the MPV 7, we will also see VinFast’s entry into cab services. The company had earlier announced that it would introduce its ride-hailing service, Green and Smart Mobility (GSM), in India.
It appears that the taxi version of the MPV will be called Limo Green, while the private version will be branded as MPV 7. As expected, the taxi version will likely be offered with fewer features, while the private version will come with a more premium feature set.

Coming to the styling, the Limo Green or MPV 7 looks quite different from other VinFast models currently on sale in India. It features a boxy design, which has been intentionally adopted to maximise interior space. The MPV measures 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and 1,728 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm.
The front fascia of the Limo Green resembles that of the VF6 and VF7, retaining the signature V-shaped LED DRLs, although they are more subtle here. It gets a split headlamp setup, and the clean bumper design suits the MPV’s character.
From the side, the MPV does not feature a coupe-like sloping roof. Instead, it has a straight window line, conventional door handles, thick cladding around the wheel arches, and a shark-fin antenna on the roof. The alloy wheels seen on test mules in India are similar to those on the international version and are expected to remain unchanged.

At the rear, the Limo Green gets a squarish rear windshield and sleek LED tail lamps connected by a signature light bar, along with the VinFast logo. The “Limo Green” badge is also expected to be placed on the tailgate.
On the inside, the MPV is expected to feature a minimalist dashboard design with a 10.1-inch or larger touchscreen infotainment system that could also double as the instrument cluster. It remains to be seen whether the MPV 7 will offer premium features like ventilated seats, electrically adjustable seats, Level 2 ADAS, and more. It is also expected to come with leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control, an electronic parking brake, disc brakes on all four wheels, and other modern features.

The MPV will be powered by a 60.14 kWh battery pack that produces 201 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. This setup is expected to deliver a claimed driving range of around 450 km.
The MPV will compete with models like the Kia Carens Clavis EV and Mahindra XEV 9S in the 7-seater EV segment. Like other VinFast products, the upcoming MPV 7 or Limo Green is also expected to be launched at an attractive price point.
