Toyota Innova Crysta enjoys stellar acceptance in India. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), today launched the 2026 Crysta with a host of design and in-cabin improvements. It comes in four broad trims- GX, GX+, VX, and ZX. The GX trim is also available for fleet buyers. The commercial version is called 'GX Fleet'. Ex-showroom prices start at Rs 19.72 lakh and go up to Rs 26.63 lakh.

The new Crysta comes with a refreshed exterior design. The overall proportions and silhouette have been kept intact. The front fascia now gets a new grille section that feels bolder and more sophisticated than before. This gives the MPV a stronger road presence.
The front bumper has also been updated, and now comes with garnishes that feel more premium. The side design remains more or less unchanged. The main change at the rear is the refreshed design for bumper garnishes. These reinforce the vehicle’s overall stance. Clearly, Toyota hasn’t made any radical changes to the design. This is good, considering the fact that the Crysta already has a well-accepted design.
Five colour options are available on the refreshed MPV: Platinum White Pearl, Super White, Silver Metallic, Attitude Black Mica and Avant‑Garde Bronze Metallic.

Inside, the new Crysta gets a more refined design. It now comes with a new dual-tone leather upholstery and a host of premium trims. Grace Copper and wood pattern trims can be found along the instrument panel, door trims and bezels. These make the interior feel more contemporary and plush.
Attention to detail can also be seen in the revised AC controls, switchgear, and rear seat back table. These now feel more refined. On the equipment front, a wireless charger and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) have been added. These improve the overall usability and practicality of the new Crysta.
The infotainment unit offers smartphone connectivity and there are steering-mounted audio controls as well. The safety suite on the new Crysta includes seven airbags, Hill Start Assist Control, Anti‑lock Braking System (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control, electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and brake assist.
The new Crysta can be had as a seven-seater and an eight-seater. All rows get dedicated AC vents and various other features. The seven-seater starts at Rs 19.72 lakh, while the 8-seater has a starting price of Rs 19.77 lakh, both ex-showroom. All trims are available in the 7-seater version whereas the 8-seater tops out at VX, priced at Rs 24.98 lakh, ex-showroom.

Even the new model continues to be powered by the familiar 2.4‑litre diesel engine, which only comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine delivers good low-end performance, and is smooth to drive. The Innova Crysta excels with its comfort on long drives and even claims a fuel efficiency of 15 kpl.
Toyota offers a three-year/ 1 lakh kilometre warranty on the 2026 Crysta. The Extended warranty would cover up to five years or 2.2 lakh kilometres.
The Crysta is expected to be discontinued in early 2027 and this could be the final update to it. The decision to discontinue this MPV is driven primarily by the CAFE3 (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) norms. The Innova has been a legendary nameplate for Toyota in India. It has sold over 1.3 million units of this SUV so far. The Crysta itself has built a solid reputation for itself. The 2026 update will only add to this.
