India is slowly seeing a surge in the number of electric vehicle options. Earlier, the choices were very limited, but now automakers are gearing up to launch EVs in more segments. Of these, one of the lesser-talked-about segments is the electric MPV segment. In the coming period, we will be seeing three new EV MPVs in India, and without any delay, let's jump right into the details of these vehicles.

VinFast, which is one of the latest carmakers to enter India, is gearing up for the launch of its third electric product, the Limo Green electric MPV, in India. This MPV will be launched as early as next month and will take on the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMax7. It has been designed to suit family buyers as well as fleet operators. As for the pricing, the VinFast Limo Green is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 18–25 lakh.
Dimensionally, it will measure 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, and its height will be 1,723 mm. As for the wheelbase, it will be 2,840 mm. The Limo Green will be longer than the Kia Clavis EV and the BYD eMax7. Design-wise, it will get signature VinFast V-shaped connected LED DRLs, a split headlamp setup, a closed-off grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, subtle cladding, and a connected LED light bar at the rear with a V-shaped lighting signature and a roof.
On the inside, it will come equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a Head-Up Display, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, a 6-way adjustable driver seat, keyless entry, and many others. It will come powered by a single front-mounted electric motor making 204 PS and 280 Nm, and a 60 kWh battery pack offering a range of 450 km. It will also offer 11 kW AC charging and DC fast charging of up to 80 kW.

Next up on the list is the second electric offering from Maruti Suzuki. At the moment, the official name of this electric MPV from the brand has not been reported. However, internally, it has been codenamed the YMC electric MPV. It is believed that it will be officially launched around September of this year. As for the pricing, it is expected to start at around Rs 22 lakh.
The Maruti Suzuki YMC electric MPV will be based on the Heartect-e skateboard platform, which has been co-developed with Toyota and Daihatsu. This same platform underpins the eVitara. Its key highlights will include a flat floor design for more cabin space, a wider stance for improved stability, and better weight distribution. Flexible architecture: it supports multiple body styles.
As for the powertrain, it is expected to get 40 kWh and 60 kWh options. The real-world range of this vehicle is estimated to be around 450 km. Also, it will likely be rear-wheel drive (RWD). The YMC electric MPV could get Y-shaped LED DRLs, a closed-off EV grille, and slightly sharp body lines, along with aero-optimised alloy wheels. On the inside, it will offer a spacious 3-row cabin layout and a flat floor, which will enhance legroom across rows.

The last vehicle on this list is Toyota's version of the Maruti Suzuki YMC electric MPV. It will be sharing the same Heartect-e skateboard platform. This MPV will offer the same 40–60 kWh battery options and a 450 km range in the real world. The only major difference will be on the outside.
It will most likely get a unique front fascia, distinct styling elements, and Toyota-specific tuning. The interior and features will be similar to the YMC, with some possible differences in the interior theme, feature packaging, and brand-specific interface. The launch is expected to take place around Rs 22–24 lakh.
