Tata was testing the new Tiago EV facelift, and we have seen several images of the same online too. A couple of days ago, we came across another set of images where we saw the Tata Tiago petrol version being tested with heavy camouflage. It looks like Tata is preparing to launch a facelifted version of the Tiago in the market soon. After the images, we now have a video where the upcoming Tiago facelift was spotted testing on our roads at night.
The video has been shared by Trakin Auto on their Instagram page. In this video, we see the rear of the upcoming Tiago facelift. The car was probably being tested at night and was spotted on a highway. The exact location of the vehicle is not known, but we assume it is somewhere in Pune.
The tail lights on the upcoming Tiago facelift are camouflaged and are only partially visible. We can, however, see the turn indicators blinking, and it looks like Tata will be making changes to the tail light design.

From the images that surfaced on the internet before this video, we can clearly see the front, side, and rear of the vehicle. In this video, we do not see the front, but it looks like Tata is planning to offer an LED headlamp setup with the hatchback, as the light from the vehicle in the video looks different from the current version.
Apart from this, we can also see the high-mounted stop lamp and an integrated roof spoiler. In the higher variants, we would also see a rear windshield wiper and defogger. Coming to the changes, the Tata Tiago facelift will come with a revised headlamp design. It is expected to feature a sleeker-looking headlamp unit along with a revised front nose and grille.
A reworked bumper and lower air dam are also expected, with fog lamps integrated into the lower part. Coming to the side profile, we expect the overall design of the Tiago to remain the same. However, the upcoming hatchback will come with a different set of alloy wheels or flex wheels.

The hatchback will continue to offer the same pull-type door handles, and along with that, we expect to see the inclusion of a 360-degree camera too. We do not have any interior images or videos, but with the Tiago facelift, we expect to see an updated dashboard, a touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, and touch-sensitive AC controls on a gloss-black centre console, similar to other Tata cars.
Like most Tata cars, the Tiago will also get safety features like ABS, six airbags, ESC, TPMS, parking sensors, HSA, and more. The engine in the Tiago is likely to remain the same. It will continue to be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 86 PS and 113 Nm of peak torque. The same engine, in CNG form, produces 75 PS and 96.5 Nm of torque. Both petrol and CNG variants are available with manual and AMT gearbox options.
There are rumours that Tata might introduce a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine in the Tiago, like the Punch, but there is no official confirmation of the same. If that happens, the Tiago will become the most powerful hatchback in this segment.
