Tata Nexon is the carmaker’s hottest-selling model in India. It is, in fact, a well-packaged product. The higher trims come with all features that buyers expect from a car of this segment. Now, Tata Motors has quietly rolled out an update that has added high-demand features like panoramic sunroof and cruise control to lower, affordable trims like Pure+. Ex-showroom price of Pure+PS, the new trim, hasn’t been announced yet.
The outgoing Nexon is available in 10 trims- Smart, Smart+, Smart+ S, Pure+, Pure+ S, Creative, Creative+ S, Creative+ PS, Fearless+ PS and Fearless+ A PS. It remains unclear if the new Pure+ PS will replace the existing Pure+ S trim or will sit between it and the Creative trim. The latter seems more likely. It will become the first trim to offer a panoramic sunroof. Ex-showroom price is likely to fall within the Rs 10 lakh mark.

Vahan Warta managed to spot a Pure+ PS in person, and shared images of the same on its twitter handle. The image shows the variant to have a large panoramic sunroof, cruise control and rear AC vents. Both panoramic sunroof and cruise control are high-demand features. The latter is, in fact, very useful on highways and long drives.
Previously, cruise control used to be offered from the Creative trim onwards. Previously, Creative+ PS was the first trim to offer panoramic sunroof. It has an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 11.32 lakh.

Let’s look at the prices now. The Pure+S is priced at Rs 9.23 lakh, ex-showroom. The Creative has an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.99 lakh. According to speculations, the Pure+PS trim will sit in between these and possibly have a price of approximately Rs 9.49 lakh. A sub-10 lakh pricing will pump much value into it and increase its overall appeal. More importantly, it will become the segment’s first sub-10 lakh offering that comes with a panoramic sunroof.
Historically, automakers have kept features like panoramic sunroof and cruise control exclusive to the higher trims. Previously, Smart+, Pure+ trims and Creative+ trims come with single-pane sunroofs.
Vahan Warta also reports that the new variant was production-ready since September 2025, but the launch took time to commence. Tata hasn’t officially revealed the prices yet.

The Nexon now has its ex-showroom prices in the range of 7.37 lakh- Rs 15.95 lakh. It was originally launched in 2017. The model on sale now is the second facelift of the first generation SUV. It was launched in 2023 with comprehensive design changes and feature additions over its predecessor. It came with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch full digital instrument cluster, touch panel and toggle switches for AC controls, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, air purifier, connected car tech, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger and more.
The sunroof on this vehicle was a single-pane unit. Tata Motors added the panoramic unit in an update that came in October 2024. Then, panoramic sunroof-equipped variants started at Rs 13.60 lakh, ex-showroom. The recent revision in GST allowed for further price corrections and made Nexon variants more affordable. Panoramic sunroof-equipped variant’s starting price came down to the figures mentioned previously.

People love the Nexon for its smart packaging, high value and uncompromised safety. This SUV comes equipped with six airbags, ESC, three-point seat belts, ISOFIX mounts and other safety features and has scored a full five-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP crash tests.
