Tata Passenger Electric Mobility is running its May 2026 discount programme across the Curvv EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV, and Tiago EV. The structure is called a Green Bonus, and unlike a straightforward price cut, it is applicable on all retail transactions including exchange and scrappage deals. The headline number belongs to the Curvv EV at up to Rs 3 lakh. The Punch EV gets up to Rs 1.10 lakh. The Nexon EV gets Rs 20,000. The Tiago EV offers have not been centrally specified this month but are available at dealership level on older model year stock.

Tata retained the top position in electric car retail sales in April 2026 with 8,543 units, ahead of Mahindra at 5,413 and JSW MG Motor at 5,006. The total electric car segment sold 23,506 units in April, up 75 percent year-on-year. Tata's 36.3 percent market share in the EV car segment reflects its widest portfolio among all manufacturers, covering four distinct models across three price brackets. The Nexon EV and Punch EV alone account for the bulk of that volume.
The Curvv EV, despite strong early interest, has faced stiffer pricing competition from the Mahindra BE 6 and MG Windsor EV.
The Curvv EV is priced between Rs 16.99 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh depending on variant and battery pack. With the Green Bonus of up to Rs 3 lakh applicable across variants, the effective price on mid-spec units drops into highly competitive territory.
The Curvv EV offers two battery options: a 45 kWh pack (now discontinued with only limited stock at dealers) with 502 km ARAI range and a 55 kWh pack with 585 km ARAI range. The larger pack, in a coupe-SUV body with wireless charging, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and Level 2 ADAS, at a post-discount price of around Rs 16.5 lakh, is a solid case in the EV segment at this price.
The Creative 45 base variant, which was getting up to Rs 3.3 lakh off in February 2026, is likely receiving comparable treatment this month. It's officially discontinued, and only limited stocks are available.
Buyers looking at the upper variants, Accomplished Plus and Empowered Plus, should confirm exact Green Bonus amounts at the dealership, as the final benefit is applied at the variant level.

The Punch EV gets up to Rs 1.10 lakh in Green Bonus on MY26 stock. It is the most affordable four-wheel EV in Tata's portfolio and has been attracting first-time EV buyers and urban households looking for a second car.
At below Rs 10 lakh on entry variants after benefits, it sits in a price band where no direct EV competitor currently operates. In April 2026, the Punch sold 19,107 units across all powertrains, making it Tata's highest-selling model that month. Its EV variant contributes a meaningful portion of that combined volume.

The Nexon EV's Rs 20,000 Green Bonus on MY26 units is the smallest number in the line-up and reflects a vehicle still selling confidently. The Nexon EV 3.0, refreshed in late 2024, offers up to 489 km ARAI range on the long-range variant.
Nexon wholesales were 18,126 units in April across all powertrains. Waiting periods on popular variants of the Nexon EV have run into two to three weeks in several cities, which explains the measured discount structure.
