One of the most unique SUVs offered for sale in India by Tata Motors is the Curvv coupe SUV. Recently, to increase the sales of the electric version of this SUV, Tata Motors has launched a new edition. It is called the Tata Curvv.ev SeriesX, and it boasts a few new features and a new exterior color. The Curvv.ev SeriesX has been launched with a starting price of Rs 16.99 lakh.
The newly launched Tata Curvv.ev SeriesX is being offered in two variants, namely the Accomplished X 55 and the Empowered X 55. Additionally, the Empowered X 55 will be offered in the Dark Edition as well. The pricing for the Accomplished X 55 is Rs 19.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the pricing of the Empowered X 55 is Rs 19.19 lakh. Lastly, the Empowered X 55 #Dark has been priced at Rs 19.49 lakh.
First off, let's start with the Accomplished X 55 variant. This particular variant gets a panoramic sunroof, dual 26.03 cm screens, which include a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument gauge cluster. Additionally, it also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Other notable highlights include a 360-degree camera, R-Comfort seats (passive ventilation), premium leatherette upholstery, and rear sunshades. Moving to the Empowered X 55 variant, it gets active ventilated front seats, a 6-way powered driver seat, and reclining rear seats. Apart from these, it also gets the Tata Arcade.ev app suite and a JBL 9-speaker sound system.
The Empowered X 55 variant also gets added safety from ADAS Level 2 with 20 features. Apart from these, it also gets a set of 18-inch alloy wheels, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, ambient and dynamic lighting, front storage (frunk), and Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Load features.
Tata Motors has not changed anything in terms of the powertrain. This SUV comes equipped with an electric motor capable of producing 167 bhp and 215 Nm of torque. Paired with this motor is a 55 kWh battery pack option, which offers a 500+ km range as per the company. To increase the peace of EV ownership, Tata Motors is offering a lifetime HV battery warranty on the Curvv.ev SeriesX.
Just a few weeks ago, Tata Motors started offering the Curvv.ev with a ton of discounts. They reached up to Rs 3.8 lakh on certain older models. Even the newest 2026 models were getting discounts ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 3.3 lakh. These included direct cash benefits, exchange bonuses, scrappage incentives, green bonuses, and loyalty benefits.

With the new pricing of the Curvv.ev SeriesX, it now looks like a very good deal. This is because it has now come on par with the ICE Curvv. If you are someone who wants a very unique-looking SUV that can reduce your fuel costs significantly and provide you with a decent range for city commutes and weekend long drives, then the newly launched Curvv.ev SeriesX makes a lot of sense.
Commenting on the launch of the Curvv.ev SeriesX, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “With every new EV we introduce, our focus is to make electric mobility more accessible and rewarding. The Curvv.ev SeriesX personas invite customers to experience India’s first SUV Coupé powered by a 55 kWh battery pack that delivers 502 km of long-driving range for effortless intercity journeys.”
He added, “It combines practical and premium features with a lifetime HV battery warranty, ensuring truly stress-free ownership at a compelling price point, enhancing its value proposition. With the introduction of these variants, we are creating a clearer, more cohesive, and benefit-led range that raises the bar in the Mid-SUV category.”
