Finally, after showing the facelifted iteration of the Kushaq mid-size SUV, Skoda Auto India has announced that it will be officially revealing its pricing on March 21. It is believed that the newly updated Kushaq could start from Rs 11 lakh and go up to Rs 20 lakh. As part of the updates, the Kushaq has been given a number of exterior and interior design changes, which have increased the beauty of its already beautiful design.

Skoda Auto India has already commenced the bookings of the new Kushaq facelift, and the deliveries of this SUV are expected to take place later this month after the reveal of the pricing on March 21. This time around as well, the Kushaq will be offered in five variants, namely Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo.
It has to be noted that earlier, the Monte Carlo variant was launched some time after the launch of the standard model. However, this time it will be offered from the launch itself. As mentioned above, it is believed that the Skoda Kushaq facelift’s pricing will start from Rs 11 lakh. It will command a slight premium over the outgoing model due to the number of feature additions and design changes.

Skoda has changed a lot of things on the 2026 Kushaq facelift. On the outside, the main changes have been made to the front fascia. This SUV will now get a larger signature grille, an illuminated light band across the grille, new sleeker-looking LED headlights, sequential turn indicators, connected LED taillights, and illuminated Skoda lettering at the rear. It has to be noted that the illuminated grille band and lettering will be offered from Signature variants onwards.
Another major highlight of the new Kushaq facelift will be the design of the alloy wheels. The lower variants of this SUV will be getting a set of 16-inch alloy wheels, while the top-of-the-line variants will be getting 17-inch alloy wheels. Apart from these cosmetic changes, the new Kushaq has also become longer by 4 mm.

It now measures 4,229 mm, but it has to be noted that this increase is due to the new bumper design; space on the inside will remain the same. What will not be the same will be its boot capacity. The current model has a boot capacity of 385 litres; however, the facelift will be getting a 491-litre boot space. The new Kushaq will also get three new colors, namely Shimla Green, Cherry Red, and Steel Grey.

Moving inside the cabin, the new Kushaq facelift will be getting a new trim and upholstery color scheme. Apart from this, the SUV will now also come with a panoramic sunroof, a first-in-segment rear seat massage function, a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, front parking sensors, and dual-color ambient lighting.
Powertrain-wise, Skoda will be offering the same 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine capable of making 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. It will come standard with a 6-speed manual gearbox. However, instead of the 6-speed torque converter automatic, it will now get a new AISIN 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Apart from this engine, it will also get the same enthusiast-favorite 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, which makes 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. However, this time around, there will be no 6-speed manual gearbox. It will only be offered with the 7-speed DSG gearbox. Once launched, it will be taking on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, newly launched Renault Duster, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and its cousin Volkswagen Taigun.
