
The Skoda Kushaq facelift has finally been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 10.69 lakh. From there, it goes all the way up to Rs 18.99 lakh. With the 2026 facelifted iteration, Skoda India is offering a ton of new updates on the outside as well as the inside. Of these, the major highlights include segment-first features such as an 8-speed automatic gearbox and rear seat massage function, along with others.

First off, let's start with the pricing details of the new Skoda Kushaq facelift. The base Classic+ trim is being offered with a price tag of Rs 10.69 lakh for the 1.0 MT variant and Rs 12.69 lakh for the 1.0 AT variant. Then there is the Signature trim, priced at Rs 14.59 lakh (1.0 MT) and Rs 15.59 lakh (1.0 AT). Above it will be the Sportline variant, priced at Rs 14.74 lakh (1.0 MT) and Rs 15.74 lakh (1.0 AT).

As for the Prestige variant, which is the second top trim, it will be offered with both 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI. The 1.0 MT variant has been priced at Rs 16.79 lakh, the 1.0 AT at Rs 17.59 lakh, and lastly, the 1.5 DSG has been priced at Rs 18.79 lakh. Lastly, the top-of-the-line Monte Carlo variant has been priced at Rs 17.89 lakh (1.0 AT) and Rs 18.99 lakh (1.5 DSG).
Skoda India has left no stones unturned while launching the new Kushaq facelift. This time around, the SUV has been given a number of changes on the outside and the inside. At the front, this SUV now gets a new front fascia consisting of a new front grille, new sleeker LED headlights, an illuminated grille light band (Signature variant onwards), sequential turn indicators, and a new front bumper.

It also gets new 16-inch alloy wheels on lower variants and 17-inch alloy wheels on higher variants. As for the rear-end redesign, the new Kushaq facelift gets a set of new connected LED taillights with illuminated Skoda lettering and a newly designed rear bumper. Dimensionally, the Skoda Kushaq facelift has grown by 4 mm. However, the increase is due to the bumper design. There is no increase inside the cabin.
The major increase, however, has been in the boot, as it used to have a capacity of 385 litres, but it now has a boot capacity of 491 litres. In total, there are 8 color options available with the new Kushaq facelift, of which three are new. These are Shimla Green, Steel Grey, and Cherry Red. Other colors include Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, and Deep Black.

On the inside, the new Kushaq gets a new interior and upholstery theme. It now also gets a panoramic sunroof, segment-first rear seat massager, a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, dual-colour ambient lighting, front parking sensors, an electric sunroof (standard in lower trims as well), and an infotainment & Tech AI assistant powered by Google Cloud. Also, it gets up to a 6-speaker audio system, with a premium Skoda Sound System with subwoofer in the higher variants.
As for the safety features, the new Kushaq facelift offers a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, over 40+ safety features, six airbags (standard), rain-sensing wipers, rear wiper and defogger, auto-dimming IRVM, electronic stability system, and many others.
Powertrain options include the same old 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, which makes 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. It is being offered with a 6-speed manual as standard and an optional 8-speed AISIN automatic gearbox, which has replaced the 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Meanwhile, the higher variants are also getting the 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol, which makes 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. This time around, however, it will only be offered with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. As for the mileage, Skoda claims the 1.0 MT offers a mileage of 19.66 kmpl, and the 1.0 AT offers a mileage of 19.09 kmpl. Lastly, the 1.5 DSG offers a mileage of 18.72 kmpl.
In terms of ownership benefits, Skoda is offering a Skoda Super Care Package, which offers a 4-year/1,00,000 km warranty as standard, 4 years of roadside assistance, 4 labour-free services, extendable warranty up to 8 years, a 6-year corrosion warranty, and a 3-year paint warranty. It rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Grand Vitara, Renault Duster, and Tata Sierra.

The base Classic+ variant of the Kushaq facelift is one of the most value-for-money variants in the lineup. It is being offered with 6 airbags, 25+ safety features, LED headlights and taillights, sequential turn indicators, 16-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch infotainment system, Climatronic AC, an electric sunroof, and it will be available with the 1.0 TSI and 6-speed MT and 8-speed AT (segment-first at base level).
Then there is the Signature variant, which adds more tech and convenience features. These include an 8-inch Virtual Cockpit, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, AI assistant, ambient lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, illuminated grille and lettering, park pilot, and it is also available with both MT & AT options.
Next up is the Sportline variant, which will come with black styling elements, 17-inch Vega black alloy wheels, and the same powertrain options as the Signature variant.
The Prestige is the second top-spec trim, offering both 1.0 and 1.5 TSI engines. Its list of features includes a panoramic sunroof, rear seat massager, a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, ventilated, electrically adjustable seats, a premium sound system, and leatherette upholstery. Also, the 1.5 TSI version gets four-wheel disc brakes as well.

Lastly, the top-of-the-line sporty Monte Carlo variant gets Monte Carlo badging, a red & black theme, a blacked-out exterior, a dual-tone paint option, red brake calipers, Nashik Red metallic interior, and a themed virtual cockpit. This variant is being offered only with 1.0 AT and 1.5 DSG options.
