The video showing Chhattisgarh's first MG Majestor delivery has been shared on Instagram by MG Motor Shivayaa Cars on their page. It starts off with the owner of the Majestor arriving at the dealership and being greeted by the staff. He then sits down to finish signing off on the paperwork for this SUV. Following this, he is handed the keys to the SUV and performs Hindu rituals to welcome it.

As mentioned above, MG Motor India launched the Majestor flagship SUV on 27th May. It has been launched with a starting price tag of Rs 40.99 lakh for the Savvy 4x2 7-seater variant. Then there is the Savvy 4x2 6-seater variant, which is also priced at Rs 40.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line Savvy 4x4 7-seater variant has been priced at Rs 44.99 lakh (ex-showroom). MG will soon also announce the prices of the Sharp variants.
Now, coming to the main highlight of the MG Majestor, it is its bold and aggressive exterior design. Compared to the Gloster, the Majestor looks a lot more premium and imposing. At the front, the SUV boasts a massive gloss-black grille along with prominent "MORRIS GARAGES" lettering. It also features a split-headlamp setup with slim LED daytime running lamps positioned on top and vertically stacked LED headlamps integrated into the bumper.

The front bumper has also been completely redesigned and now features a rugged appearance with a large silver skid plate. MG has also added vertical LED lighting elements within the grille, which further enhance the road presence of the SUV. Moving to the side profile, the overall silhouette remains similar to the Gloster. However, the Majestor gets newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in chunkier all-terrain tyres.
The SUV also gets chunky body cladding, revised side mouldings, and stronger shoulder lines. Meanwhile, at the rear, MG has equipped the Majestor with connected LED tail lamps joined by a gloss-black strip. It also gets large "MAJESTOR" lettering on the tailgate, a redesigned bumper, vertical reflectors, and dual exhaust tips. The MG Majestor is currently one of the largest SUVs in its segment. It measures 5,046 mm in length, 2,016 mm in width, and 1,876 mm in height.

Moving inside the cabin, the Majestor gets a completely revised layout compared to the Gloster. The dashboard is now much cleaner and comes finished in an all-black theme with grey accents. The SUV now also gets two 12.3-inch screens, of which one is the touchscreen infotainment system, while the other is a fully digital instrument cluster.
MG is also offering this SUV with a number of physical buttons. The SUV is available with both 6-seat and 7-seat layouts. The 6-seater version gets captain seats in the second row with individual armrests, reclining functionality, and ventilation. It even offers massaging seats for rear passengers.
Meanwhile, the 7-seater version comes with a conventional bench seat in the second row and a spacious third row. The Majestor offers a boot capacity of 343 litres with all seats in place, which can be expanded significantly by folding the rear seats.
In terms of features, MG has loaded the Majestor to the brim. The SUV comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, connected car technology, 64-colour ambient lighting, dual wireless smartphone chargers, a powered tailgate, an air purifier, and multi-zone climate control. Other highlights include ventilated front seats, massaging front seats, electrically adjustable seats, and a 360-degree camera system.
The SUV also comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and front and rear parking sensors. Additionally, it also gets a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and several other advanced safety technologies.

Powering the MG Majestor is the same 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine seen on the Gloster. This engine is capable of producing 215 PS and 478.5 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The 4WD version also comes with multiple terrain modes, triple differential locks, and an impressive water-wading capability. The MG Majestor competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Fortuner Legender, Jeep Meridian, Skoda Kodiaq, and Volkswagen Tayron in India.
