We are in the second quarter of 2026, and in the first three months, we saw brands launching several new and updated products in the market. Here, we have a list of cars that are launching in the month of May this year.
After Maruti Suzuki, Toyota is also gearing up to launch its first electric SUV in the Indian market. The Toyota eBella, as we know, is actually a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki eVitara. Toyota offers a different exterior design, which gives the SUV a unique look and character.

The Toyota eBella will come with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a fixed panoramic glass roof, and a 10-speaker JBL audio system, and more.
The Toyota eBella will be offered with a 49 kWh battery pack producing 144 PS and 189 Nm of torque, with a range of 440 km. The 61 kWh battery pack version will generate 174 PS and 189 Nm of torque, with a range of 543 km. Toyota might launch the eBella next month.

The sedan will get updates to the front grille, headlamps, bumper, alloy wheels, and tail lamps, along with updated features like a new colour theme, Level 2 ADAS, seat ventilation, electric seat adjustments, a sunroof, and more.

It would be offered with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine. The regular petrol will get manual and CVT gearbox options, while the strong hybrid will come with an e-CVT gearbox only. The Honda City facelift is expected to launch on 22 May, 2026.
Honda will also be offering a premium product for the Indian market in the form of the ZR-V. It is a mid-size SUV that is internationally positioned below the CR-V. It will be offered as a CBU, which means it is not going to be cheap by any means.

Honda will offer features like Google Assistant, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Honda Sensing (ADAS), a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, multi-zone climate control, and more. It will be offered as a hybrid vehicle only. The ZR-V uses Honda’s latest hybrid tech and will be powered by a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated Atkinson-cycle petrol engine paired with an e-CVT gearbox. The launch of the ZR-V is also expected to happen on 22 May, 2026.

The production version of the Sierra EV has been spotted testing, and compared to the ICE version, the EV will come with an exclusive bumper, a closed grille, EV-specific wheels or alloys, and multiple EV badges on the front, doors, and rear.

It will be offered with the same set of features as the regular Sierra. It would get a triple display setup, EV-specific UI for the screens, and may even come with a different interior theme that matches its EV character. The Sierra EV will be offered with the same 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs as the Harrier EV. It is expected to offer a similar driving range and will come with both RWD and AWD configurations.
MG unveiled the Majestor in February, and we even drove the SUV this month. A detailed review of the same is available on our social media handles. It is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine that produces 213 hp and 479 Nm of torque and comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
