
Mahindra Automotive, as we all know, is the largest SUV manufacturer in India. However, to make sure that it grows even more, it is gearing up for the launch of a number of new SUVs in India. Now, if you are wondering what Mahindra has in store for everyone, then you have stumbled upon the right spot. Here are the details of all the Mahindra ICE and EV SUVs that will be launching very soon.

Starting off the list is the updated Mahindra Scorpio-N facelift. This SUV is expected to launch around August 2026 during Mahindra’s Independence Day event. This will be a mid-cycle update and give the Scorpio-N revised styling and more features.
In terms of design, the facelifted model will get a revised front grille, sleeker LED headlamps, updated bumpers, and new 19-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, major upgrades will include a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, and even a panoramic sunroof on higher variants.
Powertrain options will continue to be the same, which will be the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and the 2.0-litre turbo petrol. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox, along with optional 4WD. The expected price range is Rs 14 lakh to Rs 24 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra will also be facelifting the Scorpio Classic at the same time as the Scorpio-N in August of this year. This model will continue to provide the same more rugged and traditional SUV feel than the Scorpio-N.
This facelifted Scorpio Classic will not be getting any major changes. They will include some minor cosmetic updates like a revised grille, updated bumpers, and slight tweaks to the lighting elements. Inside, it could get an improved infotainment system and better quality materials.
Mechanically, it will retain the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine producing 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. It will come paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Pricing is expected to remain in the range of Rs 13 lakh to Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra is also working on a brand-new lifestyle pickup truck based on the Scorpio-N platform. It will be called the Mahindra Scorpio-N Pik Up. This model was earlier showcased as the Global Pik Up concept and is expected to launch later in 2026.
In terms of design, the front will be similar to the Scorpio-N. Meanwhile, the rear will feature a large cargo bed, which will make it more practical. On the inside, it is expected to offer a feature-loaded cabin similar to the Scorpio-N. The powertrain will be the same as the standard Scorpio-N, and pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs 18 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. It will rival models like the Isuzu V-Cross and Toyota Hilux in India.

Mahindra, in order to take on the Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Renault Duster, and others, is also preparing an all-new mid-size SUV. It will be called the Mahindra Vision S, and it will be based on the new NU-IQ platform. The diesel variant is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine and a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine.
In terms of design, it will feature a bold and rugged stance with circular LED headlamps, chunky body cladding, and high ground clearance. On the inside, it is expected to offer a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS features. The Vision S is expected to launch by late 2026 or early 2027, and its pricing will likely be between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 18 lakh.

Another major update that we will be seeing will be of the Mahindra Thar three-door model. The new model is expected to make its debut later this year. Its design updates will include a Thar ROXX-inspired front grille, circular LED headlamps with LED DRLs, revised bumpers, and new alloy wheels. Some new features will also be added on the inside.
The SUV will continue to be offered with the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel, 1.5-litre diesel, and 2.0-litre turbo petrol. As for the gearbox options, it will be getting both manual and automatic options, along with 4x4 capability. Pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs 11 lakh to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).

Moving on to electric SUV launches lined up from Mahindra, we will soon be seeing the BE 6 with the new 70 kWh battery pack option. This new model will be positioned between the existing 59 kWh and 79 kWh variants.
The 70 kWh battery pack variant is expected to offer a claimed range of around 600 km. It will also be powered by a rear-wheel-drive motor, which will produce around 241 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. It is expected to launch in the second half of 2026.

Along with the BE 6, the coupe SUV Mahindra XEV 9E will also receive the 70 kWh battery pack option. It will share the same motor producing 241 bhp and 380 Nm and will also be launched in the second half of 2026.

Next up in the EV lineup is the Mahindra BE 07. It will be a mid-size electric SUV positioned against rivals like the BYD Atto 3 and upcoming electric SUVs in India. It will be based on the INGLO platform and is expected to offer the same battery pack options, including 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh. In terms of pricing, it is expected to be in the range of Rs 25 lakh to Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom). Most likely, it will be launched in October 2026.

Mahindra is also working on a flagship electric SUV, which will be the BE 09. It is expected to launch in 2027 and will sit above the XEV 9E. This SUV will feature a premium Grand Tourer-inspired design and will target the high-end EV segment. Pricing is expected to be between Rs 40 lakh to Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
In terms of performance, it could offer a rear-wheel-drive setup producing around 285 bhp. There are also reports that it could get an all-wheel-drive version producing up to 394 bhp. Battery pack options are expected to include 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh.

Mahindra will also introduce an electric version of the Vision S after launching the ICE model. This EV will also be based on the NU-IQ platform and will rival the Tata Nexon.ev and others. It is expected to offer a practical battery capacity with a decent range and competitive pricing. The launch is likely to take place towards the end of 2027.

Last on this list is the electric version of the Thar, which we know will be called the Mahindra Thar.e. This model was first showcased in 2023 and is expected to enter production by 2026. It will feature a rugged five-door design with high ground clearance of around 300 mm, boxy styling, and strong off-road capabilities.
It will be based on the INGLO P1 platform, which is specially designed for electric off-roaders. The exact powertrain details have not been confirmed yet. The launch will most likely take place in 2027.
