Mahindra, the largest SUV manufacturer in India, has no plans of slowing down. Now you may be wondering, why are we saying this, right? Well, that is because Mahindra Automotive is working on the launch of 8 new SUVs in India. Yes, you read that right, 8 new SUVs will be launched by Mahindra in the coming months. So if you are someone who is interested in knowing which 8 SUVs are coming, then you have come to the right spot.

The first SUV which will be launched in India will be the Mahindra Scorpio-N facelift. The mid-life facelift will be getting a brand-new front grille, new sleeker LED headlights with new LED DRLs, an updated front bumper, new alloy wheels, and a new rear bumper. On the inside, it will get a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument gauge cluster, panoramic sunroof, and ADAS Level 2. Powertrain options of 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre petrol will remain the same. The launch is expected to take place in the coming months, possibly in the next few months.

Along with the Scorpio-N, the beloved Scorpio Classic will also be getting a facelift. This time around, it will be getting an updated front fascia, new alloy wheels, and a new set of bumpers. Most likely, Mahindra will not be changing anything radically on this SUV, as it is loved by many people due to its imposing design. The interior and powertrain options will most likely remain the same, and its debut will take place in the coming few months.

Despite recently updating the Thar three-door, the company will soon be launching a much more significantly changed three-door Thar facelift in India. The exact launch date has not been revealed; however, it will be launched this year, as the test mule sightings have become a lot more frequent. The main highlights will be its Thar ROXX-like front grille, circular LED headlights, new LED taillights, and new alloy wheels. Powertrain options of 1.5-litre diesel, 2.2-litre diesel, and 2.0-litre petrol will remain the same.

The Vision S mid-size SUV, based on the new NU_IQ platform, will be Mahindra's answer to the Tata Sierra and other mid-size SUVs in India. This SUV will boast lifestyle off-roader-like styling, which will be inspired by the Ford Bronco and the Land Rover Defender. Main highlights will include circular LED headlights, LED DRLs, a unique slated grille, chunky wheel arches, large alloy wheels, and a spare tyre mounted on the tailgate. It will be offered with a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel initially. However, later it will get electric as well as hybrid powertrains as well.

To bridge the gap between the 59 kWh and the 79 kWh battery pack, Mahindra is gearing up for the launch of the XEV 9E coupe electric SUV with the 70 kWh battery pack. This variant will get an RWD electric motor making 242 bhp and 380 Nm of torque and will offer a range of around 600 km on a single full charge.

Following in the footsteps of its elder sibling, the Mahindra XEV 9E, the BE 6 electric SUV will also be getting a 70 kWh battery pack option. It too will produce the same 242 bhp and 380 Nm of torque and will be able to cover around 600 km on a single full charge. Both SUVs will be launched in the coming months.

To make the Thar ROXX more popular than it already is, Mahindra is planning to offer the Thar ROXX with the same 1.5-litre diesel engine as the three-door model. This model will bring the price of the Thar ROXX down and make it more accessible. Its key features could include a single-pane electric sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, and others. Most likely, it will slot between the current AX7 and AX variants.

Last on this list will be the most unique SUV in the lineup, and it will be the Mahindra Scorpio-N Pik Up. It will be based on the facelifted Scorpio-N, and instead of the third row of seats, it will get a truck bed. This utilitarian vehicle will rival the Toyota Hilux and undercut its price by a huge margin.
