Mahindra Automotive, which is the largest SUV manufacturer in India, has recently announced that, starting from April 2026 till 2031, it will be launching 16 new SUVs. The company has highlighted that, of these upcoming SUVs, 10 will be ICE SUVs and six will be electric vehicles. At the moment, Mahindra has not officially revealed all 16 products. However, over the last few years, Mahindra has already shown the concepts of a few of them. So, without any delay, here are the SUVs which are most likely to be launched by Mahindra in India.

The most popular 7-seater SUV currently in India is the Mahindra Scorpio-N. Now, the company is gearing up for the launch of the facelift of this SUV. It is expected to launch around August 2026. The updated Scorpio-N will most likely offer a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital instrument gauge cluster, panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, and revised styling. The existing petrol and diesel engine options will be offered.

Mahindra is also gearing up for the launch of the facelifted iteration of the Scorpio Classic. It is expected to get a refreshed grille, updated bumpers, larger infotainment screen, and improved connectivity features. It will be offered with the trusted 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine and manual gearbox combination. The launch will most likely take place around August.

The three-door Thar is also expected to soon get a major update in the coming months. Its test mules have shown that it will come with revised styling, including Thar ROXX-like LED headlights with LED DRLs, grille, and front bumper. It will also get upgraded tech and additional comfort features. The three-door Thar will continue to offer its off-road-focused character, and the existing petrol and diesel powertrains will be offered as well.

One of the most important launches from Mahindra BE (Born Electric) will be the BE 07 electric SUV. This SUV will be based on the INGLO architecture, and it is expected to come offered with battery packs including 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh. Its real-world driving range will be around 500 km. It most likely will be making its debut before the end of this year or by early 2027.

A lot of people have been referring to the upcoming Mahindra Vision S as the "Baby Scorpio." This SUV, as seen in the spy shots, will boast a rugged and boxy silhouette, and this compact SUV seems to have taken its inspiration from the Ford Bronco SUV sold in the USA. In the Mahindra lineup, it will sit below the Scorpio-N and will compete with the Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and others. It has been reported that this NU_IQ platform-based SUV will be offered with multiple powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric.

Based on the same NU_IQ platform as the Vision S, the upcoming Vision X sub-compact SUV will most likely replace the aging Mahindra XUV 3XO. Its design will be very futuristic and sharp on the outside. On the inside, it will come loaded with features. It too will be offered with petrol, diesel, strong hybrid, and electric powertrain options.

The Vision T concept, which was also shown last year, is also on the launch cards of Mahindra Automotive. It is believed that this SUV, which will be based on the NU_IQ platform, will be making its debut around 2027-28. On the outside, it will boast lifestyle SUV styling with strong off-road characteristics. It is also expected to support both combustion and electric powertrains.

The last SUV which we know is in the pipeline is the Mahindra Vision SXT. This lifestyle pickup truck will be designed to rival the Isuzu V-Cross and the popular Toyota Hilux. Being based on the NU_IQ platform, this monocoque utility truck is expected to feature multiple powertrain options. It will also be getting an AWD system. As for the launch, it will most likely take place around the end of 2027-28.

Apart from these eight vehicles, Mahindra still has eight more SUVs planned for launch. One of the strongest possibilities is the production version of the Thar.e concept. The company has already showcased the electric off-roader.
Mahindra is also expected to continue investing in the Bolero family. A next-generation Bolero and an updated Bolero Neo could also be launched. For the rest of the vehicles, we will have to wait a little.
