Billionaire Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Group has seen massive success with MG Motor India. Now, JSW Group will once again be entering the Indian automotive market, but this time around, it will be launching its new car brand, JSW Motors. So, without any delay, here are the details of all the SUVs that are on the launch cards of JSW Motors for India.

The first SUV from JSW Motors is expected to be a rebadged version of the Jetour T2. This SUV has already been spotted testing on Indian roads on multiple occasions, and most likely it will be launched around October this year. The T2 will feature a bold and upright design with a strong road presence. Its design will remind you of the Land Rover Defender luxury SUV.
In the international markets, this SUV is offered in both five-seater and seven-seater versions. However, in India, it is expected to come with the seven-seater layout. The biggest highlight of this SUV will be its plug-in hybrid powertrain. It will consist of a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, dual electric motors, and a 26.7 kWh battery pack. This setup will generate around 375 bhp and 610 Nm of torque. It is also expected to offer around 100 km of electric-only driving range. Its pricing is expected to be in the Rs 30 to 45 lakh range.

JSW Motors, after the launch of the Jetour T2 plug-in hybrid SUV, will also launch a rebadged version of the Chery iCar V23 in India. This electric SUV will be targeted towards buyers who want a rugged-looking lifestyle SUV with a unique design. Once again, you will see that the iCar V23 looks similar to luxury SUVs, including the Land Rover Defender, Jeep Wrangler, and Toyota FJ Cruiser. It will boast a boxy silhouette and a distinctive stance.
On the inside, the SUV will come equipped with a 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and powered and ventilated front seats. Internationally, it is offered with a 59.93 kWh battery pack offering 401 km of range and an 81.76 kWh battery pack, which provides up to 510 km of range. Its power output will range from 136 bhp to 211 bhp, depending on the variant. As for its pricing, it is expected to be around Rs 20-25 lakh and will rival the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Harrier.ev, and others.

Another one of the most important SUVs in the upcoming lineup of JSW Motors will be the Jaecoo J5 EV. This model has already been spotted testing in India and will compete in the premium mid-size electric SUV segment. The J5 will boast a clean and minimalist design, which will be inspired by premium Range Rover models, Evoque and Velar. It will feature slim LED headlamps, connected tail lamps, 19-inch wheels, and a sloping roofline.
Moving to the inside, this SUV is expected to come offered with a large vertically oriented touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, 540-degree camera, powered and ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, and Level 2 ADAS. As for power, it will get a front-mounted electric motor, which will produce around 210 bhp and 288 Nm of torque. It will come paired with a battery pack of around 60 kWh and offer a claimed range of up to 460 km. The J5 EV is expected to be priced between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 22 lakh.

The last SUV on this list of cars coming from JSW Motors is the Chery Tiggo 8, which will serve as its flagship SUV. The company has already filed a patent for this model in India. The Tiggo 8 is a large three-row SUV, which measures over 4.7 metres in length. It will feature a bold front grille with chrome detailing, split headlamps, and an upright stance.
The cabin is also expected to offer a ton of features, including a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, 540-degree camera, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, a built-in dashcam, 50W wireless charging, a 12-speaker sound system, and Level 2 ADAS.

It will also get an intelligent AWD system, as offered in the international markets. The Tiggo 8 is expected to be priced between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 30 lakh.
