Hyundai and Kia are among the most popular car brands in India. Both brands are known for offering premium cars at affordable prices. Like most manufacturers, Hyundai and Kia are also working on a bunch of new products while simultaneously updating their existing lineup. Here is a list of cars that Hyundai and Kia are planning to launch in the market soon.
Kia’s not-so-popular Syros SUV will soon be getting an electric version. The Syros EV has been spotted testing multiple times, and it looks like Kia is now just months away from launching it. The exterior design of the Syros EV is expected to be inspired by the regular ICE version.

However, we will see minor changes in the form of a revised front bumper, grille, tail lamps, and alloy wheels. The SUV is expected to be offered with premium features and a spacious cabin, just like the ICE version.
It is expected to be offered with 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery pack options. These are likely to deliver a claimed range of around 300–400 km.
Kia is also working on bringing a premium seven-seater SUV to the market this year. It is the Sorento SUV, and it will be offered with a hybrid powertrain. It is expected to get hybrid technology even before the Seltos and Creta. This seven-seater SUV is likely to be launched later this year.

The SUV is already sold in international markets, but for India, it is expected to receive a few changes. It will come with a hybrid petrol powertrain specifically designed for the Indian market. It is expected to use a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a hybrid system. The exact specifications of this powertrain are not known at the moment. It is expected to be a strong-hybrid setup, and with all these features in place, Kia might price this SUV slightly above the Mahindra XUV 7XO.
Kia launched the new-generation Seltos in the market this year. While Kia has been consistently selling around 10,000 units of the Seltos every month, the company is planning to introduce a couple of new variants to offer customers more choice.

Kia is said to be working on GTX+ and X-Line (O) variants for the Seltos. These new variants are expected to be launched around the festive season this year. The upcoming GTX+ trim is expected to offer additional features over the standard GTX variant. Some of the highlights are likely to include a dashcam, head-up display, and an air purifier.
The X-Line (O) variant is also expected to come with the same set of features as the GTX+, along with the exclusive matte grey paint scheme and the rugged exterior styling.

The all-new Hyundai i20 has just been teased in South America ahead of its official reveal. The car is expected to be launched in India by the end of 2026. It'll replace the current generation model, and is expected to set a benchmark in the premium hatchback segment.
As is the case with the current model, naturally aspirated and turbocharged petrol engines with manual and automatic options will be on offer. A full styling revamp, inside-out, new features including ADAS, a higher safety rating, flex fuel compatibility, and a platform ready for electrification could be key elements of the new car.
Hyundai recently made an announcement regarding its future plans and upcoming products for the Indian market. As part of this strategy, the company plans to launch around 26 models by 2030. One of the first products to arrive under this strategy is a new sub-4-metre EV.

The vehicle has been spotted testing on multiple occasions and is currently known internally by the codename HE1i. The EV will rival the likes of the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV 3XO EV. It is set to become Hyundai’s first dedicated and heavily localised EV for India.
Like most Hyundai models, this EV will be offered with several premium features, including Level 2 ADAS and more.
It will be based on the E-GMP(K) platform and is expected to come with two battery-pack options: a 42 kWh unit and a 49 kWh unit. Both are expected to deliver a range of over 300 km. The EV is likely to be launched by late 2026 or early 2027.
This SUV will be positioned between the Venue and the Creta. Currently known by the codename BC4i, the SUV has already been spotted testing multiple times. It is expected to feature a premium SUV design inspired by both the Venue and the Creta.

Although it is based on the same platform as the Bayon, it is expected to have a more boxy design compared to its global counterpart. The SUV will be powered by a new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that Hyundai is developing specifically for India.
This engine will slot between the existing 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines offered by Hyundai. The new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine will be hybrid-ready and is expected to find its way into several new and existing Hyundai models in the future. The BC4i is expected to be launched later this year.
The next-generation Creta is currently being tested in India. It is based on the K3 platform and is expected to be larger than the outgoing model. The SUV will receive a completely new exterior and interior design.

It will also be one of the first Hyundai models to feature a strong-hybrid powertrain. Apart from the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine options, the Creta will get a new strong-hybrid powertrain that is expected to gradually replace the diesel engine in the long run.

There is a possibility that the global unveiling of the next-generation Creta will take place towards the end of 2026, while the official launch could happen in 2027.
