
The South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor India has launched the facelifted iteration of its popular micro-SUV, Exter, in India. This SUV has been launched at Rs 5.79 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 9.41 lakh. Hyundai has given the Exter a number of exterior and interior changes and has also added a number of new features as well.

First off, let's talk about the pricing of the newly launched Exter Facelift. This micro-SUV with the 1.2-litre petrol engine and manual transmission will start at Rs 5.79 lakh for the HX2 variant. Then there will be the HX3 variant priced at Rs 6.24 lakh, HX4 at Rs 7.22 lakh, HX6 at Rs 7.95 lakh, and lastly HX8 at Rs 8.36 lakh.
Then there will be the 1.2-litre engine Exter with the AMT gearbox. It will start at Rs 6.91 lakh for the HX3 variant. Then the HX4+ priced at Rs 8.06 lakh, HX6 at Rs 8.55 lakh, HX8 at Rs 9.08 lakh, and lastly HX10 at Rs 9.42 lakh.
Additionally, it will also be offered with the CNG kit as well, and it will start at Rs 6.99 lakh for the HX2 variant. The HX3 CNG variant will be priced at Rs 7.44 lakh, HX4 at Rs 8.27 lakh, HX6 at Rs 8.94 lakh, and lastly HX8 at Rs 9.41 lakh.

In terms of the changes, Hyundai has given the Exter a number of new updates on the outside as well as the inside. Starting off on the outside, the new Exter Facelift gets a refreshed front bumper with a black radiator grille and a new lower air dam design. It also gets a set of new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a new wing-type rear spoiler.
Additionally, the company has also given the new Exter Facelift a new tailgate and C-pillar garnish for sharper rear styling. Other notable highlights include chunky wheel arch claddings. Overall, the new Exter looks more sporty than the previous model. The new Exter also gets two new colors, namely Golden Bronze and Titanium Black matte.

Moving to the changes on the inside of the cabin, the new Exter Facelift gets a classy-looking Navy Blue and Grey interior theme. There is a new 3D carbon pattern on the dashboard, a sporty D-cut steering wheel with controls, 1st-in-segment metal pedals, and new semi-fabric seat upholstery with Exter branding.

Other notable highlights include a new folding armrest, driver seat height adjustment, adjustable headrests for all seats, and a 381-litre boot space for the standard model and a 225-litre boot capacity with the CNG version. Hyundai has also added a 1st-in-segment dashcam as well. It also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluelink connected car tech, an electric sunroof, a digital instrument gauge cluster, and OTA updates.

Hyundai has not changed anything under the bonnet. It still gets the same 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, which is capable of making 83 PS and 113 Nm of torque. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Additionally, the CNG option, which comes with dual-cylinder technology, makes 69 PS and 94 Nm of torque, and it is only offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
