The SV is the entry-level variant in the lineup of the new Honda City facelift. However, make no mistake, it still comes equipped with a respectable list of features. On the outside, it is being offered with Bi-LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, a blacked-out grille, sporty bumpers and 15-inch steel wheels with wheel covers. It also gets body-coloured ORVMs, shark-fin antenna and door handles as well.
Moving inside the cabin, the SV variant of the City gets a beige and black dual-tone cabin theme along with piano black dashboard inserts and soft-touch materials. Its list of features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four speakers, steering-mounted controls, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and push-button start.
As for the safety equipment, it is being offered with six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, Vehicle Stability Assist, hill-start assist, TPMS, reverse parking sensors, ISOFIX mounts and a rear parking camera. Basically, the SV variant is for the buyers who want a premium sedan experience without stretching the budget too much.

The second variant in the Honda City lineup is the V variant which starts at Rs 13.29 lakh with the manual gearbox and the CVT gearbox equipped trim is priced at Rs 14.29 lakh, (ex-showroom). For most people, the V trim will be the most value-for-money variant in the lineup because it gets a number of important technology and safety upgrades over the base SV trim.
On the outside, these changes include clear-lens LED tail lamps, gloss black tailgate garnish and 15-inch grey multispoke alloy wheels. As for the features inside the cabin this variant gets Honda Connect connected car technology along with Alexa support and smartwatch connectivity.
One of the biggest highlights of the V trim is the addition of Honda Sensing ADAS features. These include adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, lane keep assist, road departure mitigation, auto high beam assist and lead car departure notification. It makes it most affordable sedan in the mid-size sedan segment to offer ADAS Level 2.
The V trim also comes offered with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, remote engine start for CVT variants, walk-away auto lock and paddle shifters on CVT models. If you are someone who wants more modern features and ADAS without spending a lot of extra money, then the V variant of the City will be the most value for money for you.

After the V variant we take a big step up in the pricing and reach the ZX variant which starts at Rs 15.25 lakh for the manual gearbox option. As for the CVT equipped trim, it is priced at Rs 16.25 lakh. The ZX trim on the outside gets the newly added connected LED light bar at the front. It also boasts larger 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, black bumper inserts and an electric sunroof.
Inside, the ZX variant feels a lot more luxurious and this is mainly due to the offering of ivory and black leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, soft-touch dashboard materials, piano black inserts and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Honda has also upgraded the infotainment system with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen unit which comes paired with wireless smartphone connectivity and an 8-speaker sound system.
Additional features of the ZX trim of the Honda City facelift include a wireless charger, rear sunshade, LaneWatch camera, auto-dimming IRVM, rain-sensing wipers and LED cabin lamps. The ZX trim will be the most ideal for buyers who want the premium sedan loaded with almost all the luxury features.

The ZX+ variant is the most expensive variant of the standard City and it starts at Rs 16.14 lakh with the manual gearbox. As for the ZX+ trim with the CVT gearbox it has been priced at Rs 17.14 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant is the most feature-loaded petrol Honda City on sale at the moment. In terms of features over the ZX variant, it gets ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera and additional convenience features.
It also gets a larger 7-inch TFT instrument display with a digital speedometer and G-meter display. On the outside, this variant features a trunk lip spoiler and a unique alloy wheel finish. Honda has also added auto-folding mirrors with welcome function, fully automatic power windows and more convenience touches. This trim is basically for those buyers who want the most premium and feature-rich City in the current lineup.

The absolute top-of-the-line variant in the Honda City facelift lineup is the strong hybrid e:HEV version. Apart from all the features offered on the ZX+ trim, it also gets several hybrid-exclusive additions.
Its main highlight is the 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine which comes paired with a strong hybrid system. This variant consists of an electric motor and battery pack and combined it makes 125 bhp and 253 Nm torque. Honda claims that it offers a mileage of 27.26 kmpl which is very impressive.
As for the standard variant, they come offered with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine which produces 119 bhp and 145 Nm torque. This engine comes paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.
