Tata Motors is currently the largest electric vehicle manufacturer in India. It commands over 36 percent of the total electric vehicle market in India, and it does not want to lose its position. As a result of this, the company is working on the development of more electric cars, and this year we will be seeing them officially. Here is the list of all four upcoming electric cars from Tata Motors.

One of the most highly anticipated upcoming electric cars from Tata in India is the Sierra.ev. The EV iteration of the already superhit Sierra mid-size SUV will be launched on May 22. Recently, a number of new spy shots of the Sierra.ev were shared online, which have revealed a few important details of this upcoming EV.
On the outside, the Sierra EV will look very similar to the ICE version. However, it will get a few EV-specific changes. These will include a completely closed front grille, connected LED light bar, sleek LED headlamps, vertically stacked fog lamps, and aero-optimised design elements. As for the profile, it will remain almost identical to the standard Sierra. It will continue to offer flush-fitting door handles, gloss black cladding, and large alloy wheels.
At the rear, it will continue to get the connected LED tail lamps and a roof-mounted spoiler. Moving on to the interior, the Sierra.ev is expected to feature a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Higher variants will also offer the triple-screen setup seen on the top-spec ICE Sierra.
Other features could include a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, connected car technology, electric parking brake, and multiple drive modes. As for the powertrain, Tata Motors is expected to offer the Sierra.ev with the same 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options as the Harrier EV.
It is also expected to get both rear-wheel-drive and QWD (Quad Wheel Drive) configurations. The Sierra.ev will sit between the Nexon.ev and Harrier.ev in the lineup, and it is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 20 to 25 lakh.

The next big launch on the same May 22 date will be the Tata Safari.ev. This SUV will become the company’s first-ever electric 7-seater model in India. Once launched, the Safari.EV will rival the Mahindra XEV 9S, which has already become very popular.
In terms of design, the Safari.ev will boast the same body style as the standard ICE Safari. However, the company will provide a number of EV-specific styling elements, including a closed-off grille, redesigned bumpers, EV badging, and aero-efficient alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Safari.ev is expected to retain the layout of the standard model. But like the Harrier.ev, which is its younger sibling, Tata could offer a more premium colour scheme and higher-quality trims. The Safari.EV, in terms of features, is expected to get OTA updates, a 540-degree surround camera, advanced Level 2 ADAS, auto park assist, summon mode, a UPI-based in-car payment system, and low-speed cruise control for off-roading.
Powering the Safari.ev will be the same 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs from the Harrier.ev. Tata is also expected to offer a larger 80 kWh battery pack as well. The SUV is expected to get both rear-wheel-drive and AWD configurations, like the Harrier.ev. Additionally, it is also expected to offer terrain modes, multi-link rear suspension, and frequency-dependent dampers. Pricing of the Safari.ev is expected to be around Rs 22.5 lakh to Rs 30 lakh.

Another very important upcoming Tata Motors electric car is the facelifted Tiago.ev. Currently, the Tiago.ev is one of the most affordable electric cars in India, and with this new update, it could become a lot more popular. As per the reports, the new Tiago.ev facelift will get a bigger battery pack, improved performance, and more premium features.
The biggest change on the new model will be the battery pack options. Tata Motors is expected to discontinue the smaller 19 kWh battery pack and make the 24 kWh battery standard. Apart from this, the company will also introduce a new larger 30 kWh battery pack, which could offer a claimed range of around 366 km on a single charge.
It is believed that the new battery pack will use more energy-dense prismatic cells sourced from Gotion. Apart from the battery upgrade, the Tiago.ev facelift is also expected to receive a new 6-in-1 i-drive motor, which is also seen on the Punch.ev. This setup could produce around 80 to 88 PS of power and 140 Nm of torque. Tata Motors is also expected to offer faster DC charging speeds above 50 kW to reduce charging times.
In terms of design, the facelifted Tiago.ev will get a revised front fascia, slimmer headlamps, redesigned bumpers, and new alloy wheels. The interior will also be updated with a larger touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, touch-based AC controls, and a new two-spoke steering wheel.
Other expected features include a sunroof, wireless charger, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, and six airbags. The updated Tiago.ev is expected to make its debut by the end of this month, and it is expected to get a price bump over the current pricing of Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 11.14 lakh.

Last on the list is the Tata Avinya X, which will become the most expensive and premium EV on offer from Tata Motors. The concept of this EV has already been showcased at the Bharat Mobility Auto Show 2025. The Avinya models will be sold under Tata’s new luxury EV sub-brand called Avinya.
The design of the Avinya X will not be like any other Tata model currently on sale. The concept boasted sleek styling, a coupe-like SUV silhouette, T-shaped LED headlights and taillights, and a very futuristic overall appearance.
On the inside, the Avinya X will feature a minimalistic and premium cabin layout inspired by luxury SUVs like the Range Rover. Expected features on the Avinya X include Level 2+ ADAS, ventilated and massaging seats, a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, and a 360-degree camera.
Unlike the Harrier EV and Safari.EV, the Avinya X will be based on Tata’s new EMA platform. As per Tata Motors, this platform will support ultra-fast charging and offer up to 500 km of range with less than 30 minutes of charging time. Pricing of the Avinya X is expected to be around Rs 30 lakh to Rs 40 lakh, and it has been confirmed that it will be launched by the end of this year.
