The year 2026 is going to be a very exciting one for Toyota in India. This is because the Japanese automotive giant is gearing up to launch four new models this year. Now, if you are someone who loves Toyota and the reliability offered by its vehicles, then this list is for you. Make sure to read till the end to know which four new Toyotas will be launched this year in India.

Starting off with one of the most important launches from Toyota, which will be its first-ever electric vehicle in India, the Urban Cruiser eBella. This electric midsize SUV is expected to be launched in the month of May. Bookings for the eBella have already started, and the official price announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
It is believed that the Urban Cruiser eBella will be priced in the range of Rs 16 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, similar to that of the Maruti e Vitara. For those who may not be aware, both the e Vitara and eBella are badge-engineered products. Toyota will be offering the eBella in three variants, namely E1, E2, and E3.
In terms of the design, it will be getting a completely unique fascia with triangular LED headlamps and eyebrow-style DRLs. It will also get gloss black elements, slim vertical air intakes, and a minimal skid plate. On the sides, the eBella will boast 18-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels, body cladding, C-pillar-mounted rear door handles, and a sloping roofline.
Meanwhile, at the rear, it will feature a redesigned LED light bar with a different lighting signature compared to the e Vitara. Like the e Vitara, the eBella will be offered with two battery pack options, namely a 49 kWh unit and a larger 61 kWh unit. Both will be paired with a front-mounted electric motor.
The 49 kWh version will produce 144 bhp, while the 61 kWh version produces 174 bhp, and both will offer torque fixed at 189 Nm. In terms of range, the smaller battery offers 440 km. Meanwhile, the larger one will deliver up to 543 km on a single charge, making it highly competitive in its segment.
As for the features, the eBella will come loaded with a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster, and an electric sunroof. Other notable highlights will include a powered driver seat, JBL sound system, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and automatic climate control.

The most highly anticipated launch from Toyota this year will be the new-generation Toyota Fortuner. It is expected to make its global debut by mid-2026 and will be arriving in India by late 2026. The expected pricing of this new model will be between Rs 36 lakh and Rs 55 lakh.
The new Fortuner will be based on the updated IMV ladder-frame platform and will also share its underpinnings with the new-generation Hilux. Design-wise, the new Fortuner will get a wider stance and a more upright and squared-off rear profile.
Apart from these, it will also be getting new LED taillights, possibly connected by a light bar, along with a redesigned bumper. As for the front, it will be getting sharper LED headlamps, a larger grille, and a more aggressive bumper, which will give it a stronger road presence.
On the inside, the new Fortuner is expected to get a major upgrade. It will likely get a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, ADAS features, OTA updates, and improved connected car technology. It may also get electric power steering for better ease of driving.
Powertrain options will remain the same as the current model, including the 2.7-litre petrol and a 2.8-litre diesel engine. The diesel will continue to be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions. Meanwhile, the petrol could be automatic only. Additionally, Toyota could introduce a 48V mild-hybrid diesel powertrain, aligning with its global electrification strategy.

Toyota will also be launching the new-generation Hilux in India by late 2026. This new model is expected to be priced between Rs 35 lakh and Rs 40 lakh. This new model has already been showcased in the international markets. The new Hilux is built on the improved IMV platform.
Design-wise, the new-generation Hilux features Toyota's ‘Cyber Sumo’ front fascia. It gets a bold grille with TOYOTA lettering, sleek LED headlamps with DRLs, and a new bumper. It also gets skid plates and circular fog lamps. On the inside, the cabin has also been completely redesigned, and it now focuses more on comfort and usability.
The new Hilux is expected to offer a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, an electronic parking brake, and wireless smartphone connectivity. It will also come equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3, which includes ADAS features.
In India, we will be only getting the diesel version, which is the time-tested 2.8-litre engine producing 204 hp and 500 Nm. However, the international markets also get an electric version as well. The EV Hilux features a 52.9 kWh battery pack and a dual motor setup producing 196 hp and a claimed range of 315 km.

Last on this list is the 7-seater version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. It is expected to make its debut in the second half of 2026 around the festive season. The test mule of this SUV has been spotted testing in India with a longer rear overhang and a stretched side profile.
The upcoming model will rival established SUVs like the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV 7XO, and Hyundai Alcazar. Mechanically, it will continue with the same engine options as the current Hyryder. These include a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology producing 103 bhp, and a strong hybrid setup producing a combined output of 116 bhp. It will also be offered with an all-wheel-drive system. Pricing will be in the range of Rs 16 lakh to Rs 24 lakh.
