Skoda, as part of its new strategy, has introduced several new products, which has helped the brand become much more popular among the masses. The India 2.0 Strategy, where they aimed to revolutionise the brand’s presence in India through highly localised products, seems to be working well. The brand sold around 72,000 units in 2025, and it aims to maintain this momentum and further improve its numbers by introducing new and updated models to the market. Skoda not only aims for 1 lakh annual sales milestone but also expand their presence from 183 cities to 200. Here is a list of four new Skoda cars that are expected to launch this year.

Skoda recently launched the Kushaq facelift at an attractive price in the market. After the Kushaq, Skoda is also working on the Slavia facelift. The Slavia facelift has been spotted testing on a couple of occasions, and we now have a fair idea of how the sedan might look. Just like Skoda made the Kushaq resemble a baby Kodiaq, we expect the Slavia to take inspiration from the Octavia.
The Slavia facelift will come with revised headlamps, grille, bumper, tail lamps, alloy wheels, a larger instrument cluster, rear seat massage function, and more. The sedan will be offered with a 1.0-litre TSI engine paired with a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine will be offered with a 7-speed DSG.

The Sportline variant is an update that we expect to see with the Kylaq. The Sportline is essentially a sportier-looking version of the standard Kylaq, featuring blacked-out elements.
The Sportline will sit above the Signature variant and will cost slightly more. It will be powered by the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that generates 115 PS and 178 Nm of peak torque. Whether the SUV will get the 8-speed automatic transmission with this update is something we will have to wait and see.

Skoda had previously discontinued diesel engines from its lineup in India due to various reasons. However, the brand is now evaluating diesel options for some models, including the Kodiaq SUV. The diesel engine is likely to be introduced first in the Superb sedan and later in the Kodiaq.
Both vehicles are expected to be offered in limited numbers as CBUs. The upcoming Kodiaq diesel is likely to be powered by a 2.0-litre TDI engine producing around 200 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. It will be a 4x4 SUV paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission.

The first batch of the Octavia RS was launched last year. Only 100 units were initially brought in, and all of them were sold out even before the official price announcement. Looking at the overwhelming response, Skoda has decided to bring another batch of the Octavia RS to India in 2026.
The Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that produces 265 hp and 370 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission, and power is sent to the front wheels.
