
The coming three months will be very exciting for the Indian electric car market. We are saying this because four brand-new electric cars will be launched in the coming months. So, if you are also someone who has been planning to buy a new EV for a while, then this list will surely help you. So, without delay, here are the details of the four new EVs launching in the next three months.

Toyota officially unveiled the Ebella, its first electric car for India, on January 20. At the time, the company announced the commencement of bookings for this SUV with a booking amount of Rs 25,000. Now, it has been reported that next month, in April, it will be officially launched. It is being speculated that it will be priced in the range of Rs 17 to 21+ lakh (ex-showroom).
The Toyota Ebella is essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, and it is built on the same Heartect-e skateboard EV platform. It will be manufactured at Suzuki Motor Corporation’s Gujarat plant. There will be two battery pack options of 49 kWh, offering 142 bhp and 189 Nm of torque, and 61 kWh, offering 171.5 bhp and 189 Nm of torque.

Both will be front-wheel drive (FWD), and the larger 61 kWh battery pack will offer 543 km of range. In terms of features, it will come equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
It will also get ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, an electric sunroof, wireless charging, a JBL premium sound system, sliding & reclining rear seats, a 10-way powered driver seat, and connected car tech, along with Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and many others. Once launched, it will rival the Maruti e Vitara, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Windsor EV, Tata Curvv EV, and the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, along with BE 6.

Another very important EV launch lined up for next month is the VinFast Limo Green electric MPV. The exact launch date has not been revealed; however, it has been confirmed that it will be arriving in April. As per the reports, the pricing of the Limo Green electric MPV will be in the range of Rs 18 to 25 lakh. Once launched, it will be rivalling the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMax7.
VinFast, with the Limo Green, will be targeting family buyers and fleet operators. Dimensionally, it will measure 4,740 mm in length, 1,872 mm in width, 1,723 mm in height, and its wheelbase will be 2,840 mm, which will be larger than its rivals, offering better cabin space. The Limo Green is expected to come with a single motor (FWD), offering 204 PS and 280 Nm.

As for the battery pack, it will be around 60 kWh and offer a range of 450 km. It will support 11 kW AC charging and 80 kW DC fast charging, completing a charge of 10 to 70 percent in just 30 minutes. The Limo Green will get the signature VinFast V-shaped grille with a split headlight setup, 18-inch alloy wheels, connected LED taillights, a large floating touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, automatic climate control, keyless entry, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a 6-way adjustable driver seat, along with others.

To add to the already achieved success, Tata Sierra will soon be getting an electric powertrain. It has been confirmed that in May 2026, Tata Motors will be launching the much-anticipated Sierra EV in India. This SUV will be priced in the range of Rs 20 to 25 lakh and will rival the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, Toyota Ebella, MG Windsor EV, and the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara.
In the Tata Motors lineup, it will be positioned below the Harrier.ev. The Sierra EV will be based on the ARGOS multi-energy platform and will also be manufactured at Tata’s Sanand facility alongside the ICE Sierra. It will most likely be offered with two battery options, including a 55 kWh and a 65 kWh. The standard will be a rear-wheel-drive layout. However, it could also get a dual-motor AWD setup as well.

Its design highlights will include EV-specific styling such as a new front fascia, new alloy wheels, and a slightly tweaked rear design. It will retain the large panoramic rear glass and flush door handles. On the inside, it is expected to get the same triple-screen setup, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, a HUD, a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, and ventilated seats, along with others.

The South Korean giant Kia is also gearing up to enter the affordable electric SUV segment with the electric version of the Syros. It is believed that the Syros EV will be making its debut between April and June. The Syros EV is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 15 to 20 lakh. Its list of rivals will include the Tata Nexon.ev, Punch.ev, Citroen eC3, Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, and others.
The Kia Syros EV will be based on the K1 platform, on which the Hyundai Inster, which is sold internationally, is based. As for the battery pack options, it will most likely be offered with 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery packs, with the bigger unit offering a range of around 369 km on a single full charge. In terms of design, it will retain the overall silhouette of the ICE Syros but will get EV-specific design cues.

On the inside, it will come loaded with features. These will include dual 12.3-inch screens, touch-based AC controls, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and rear seats, and a wireless charger. Other notable highlights could include V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) and V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) charging capabilities.
