Tata Motors is currently one of the leading electric car manufacturers in India. The company already has a wide range of EVs in its portfolio and is constantly updating and expanding its lineup to maintain an edge over the competition. Here is a list of four upcoming Tata electric cars that are expected to launch in the market soon.

After the Tiago EV, Tata is also expected to update the Tigor EV sedan. As part of the facelift, the sedan is likely to get revised headlamps similar to the Tiago EV, updated front bumpers, a closed grille, and redesigned tail lamps connected by a reflector bar.
The Tigor EV is also expected to use the same battery-pack options as the Tiago EV facelift.
One of Tata’s most awaited upcoming products is the Sierra EV. The electric SUV has already been spotted testing multiple times, and we now have a fair idea of what to expect from it.

In terms of design, the Sierra EV will largely retain the styling of the ICE version but with EV-specific touches like a closed grille, aerodynamic alloy wheels with aero inserts, exclusive colour options for the electric version, and a unique interior theme.
The electric SUV is expected to come loaded with features such as a triple-screen setup, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable seats, adjustable under-thigh support, memory seats, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers, Level 2 ADAS, and several other premium features.
The Sierra EV is expected to use the same 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs as the Tata Harrier EV and will likely be priced below Tata’s current flagship EV. The Sierra EV is also expected to be offered with both RWD and AWD setups right from launch.
Tata is also preparing to launch an electric version of the Safari SUV. According to recent reports, the Safari EV is expected to launch around the festive season later this year.

The Safari EV is likely to remain visually similar to the ICE-powered Safari but with EV-specific design elements such as a closed grille, aerodynamic wheels, and revised LED tail lamps.
It will become Tata’s first three-row electric SUV and is also expected to serve as the brand’s new flagship EV.
The SUV is likely to be offered with 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery-pack options. The larger battery pack, similar to the Harrier EV, is expected to offer a claimed range of around 622–627 km, while the smaller battery pack could deliver approximately 538 km. Higher variants may also come with an AWD setup.
Tata is also preparing to enter the premium EV segment with the Avinya range. These upcoming premium electric vehicles are expected to be sold through a separate retail network. Tata had even showcased a near-production-ready version during the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.

The Tata Avinya X is expected to be a premium crossover available in 5-, 6-, and 7-seater configurations. It is likely to measure close to five metres in length and will come equipped with advanced features that go beyond what we currently see in Tata’s existing models.
