Celebrities often go for expensive and premium vehicles that go well with their overall lifestyle and persona. However, we have lately been seeing a bit of a shift in trend. Many Indian celebrities have started promoting homegrown brands. Popular Indian singer, songwriter, author, and record producer Daler Mehndi is the latest one to do so. He recently bought a brand-new Mahindra XEV 9E electric SUV.
The video was shared by Mahindra Electric SUVs on their official Instagram page. In this video, we see the dealership staff delivering the vehicle to the singer at his place. He, along with his family members, walks towards the area where they have parked the car. The car is covered, and it is unveiled by Daler Mehndi himself.
After unveiling the car, we see him pray in front of the vehicle before actually getting into it. The dealership staff was also present at the event, and they guided him through the features and functions of the vehicle. They gave a quick briefing on the features, and it looks like they were also telling him about the functions that can be controlled from the key fob.
Daler Mehndi then posed for pictures and videos with his fans and the dealership staff, and he even thanked his fans who made it possible. The singer, along with his family, then cut a cake as part of the celebration, and that is where the video ends. The Mahindra XEV 9E is a premium electric SUV from the Indian SUV manufacturer.

In fact, it is one of Mahindra’s first born-electric SUVs. It is based on the INGLO platform, which is dedicated to EVs. It is a 5-seater electric SUV that comes with a coupe-like sloping design. Many like it, while others don’t. It looks like Daler Mehndi liked the design and also the features offered in this EV.
The Mahindra XEV 9E is a large SUV. It is 4,790 mm long, 1,905 mm wide, and 1,690 mm tall. It comes with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm too. It looks like Daler went for the top-end trim. This means the eSUV comes with all the bells and whistles that Mahindra offers. The EV comes with a massive three-screen dashboard layout, Level 2 ADAS, and a spacious 663-litre boot. Other features include leatherette upholstery, an AR head-up display (HUD), NFC key functionality, an in-cabin selfie camera, a fixed panoramic glass roof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, an electronic parking brake (EPB), six to seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, and more. The XEV 9E has also achieved the highest scores in the Bharat NCAP crash tests.
The Mahindra XEV 9E is currently available with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs. The smaller battery pack generates 228 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. This variant offers a claimed range of 542 km.
