
Over the last few years, a number of Chinese cars have entered the Indian automotive market, either directly or through joint ventures. Now, in the coming period, the number of Chinese cars will only increase, and we can even say that we are about to witness a tsunami of new Chinese cars in India. Now, if you are someone who wants to know which new cars are coming, then you have come to the right spot.

JSW MG Motor India is marketing the soon-to-be-launched Majestor as India's first D+ segment SUV. It will measure over 5 metres in length at 5,046 mm and will dwarf the mighty Toyota Fortuner, which is currently the segment champion. It will come powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, which will make 212 bhp and 478 Nm, and get an 8-speed torque converter automatic.
The Majestor will also be getting a segment-first triple differential lock and a crawl system called the M-Crawl. On the inside, it will come offered with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, front seat ventilation, and a massage function. The launch will most likely take place later this month, and it will be priced in the range of Rs 40 to 45 lakh. It will undercut the Fortuner with more features and a lower price tag.

Next up will be the Binguo EV, a based affordable electric hatchback from MG. It will sit between the MG Comet EV and Windsor EV in MG's lineup and directly rival the Tata Tiago.ev, which is currently one of the most affordable and practical EV hatchbacks in the country. It is expected to be offered with two powertrain options, namely the 31.9 kWh battery with a 333 km range, and a 37.9 kWh battery with a 410 km range.
The Tata Tiago.ev, on the other hand, offers only 315 km. Also, unlike the MG Comet, the Binguo EV will support DC fast charging, which will make it even more practical for daily use. On the inside, it will come offered with dual 10.25-inch floating screens and a much better and more premium cabin than the Tiago.ev. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 11 to 14 lakh.

The next big launch from JSW MG Motor India will be the Starlight 560-based MG 520 EV and plug-in hybrid models. It will be a 7-seater SUV, which will be directly taking on the Mahindra XUV 7XO and the Tata Safari. The MG 520’s main highlight will be its 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid powertrain. It will produce 197 bhp and offer 100 km of pure electric range, and its total range will exceed 1,100 km.
An all-electric version of this SUV will also be launched in India with a 56.7 kWh battery, offering a range of around 500 km. In terms of features, it will come loaded with a 12.8-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, ventilated and powered front seats, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.

MG will also be launching its premium electric SUV-coupe, which will be a CBU. It will be the MG IM6 electric SUV, and it is expected to make its debut in August 2026. The IM6 will be sold exclusively through MG Select dealerships. The main highlight will be its massive 100 kWh battery pack. The RWD version makes 401 bhp and 500 Nm and offers a range of 625 km. On the other hand, its AWD version will offer 741 bhp and 802 Nm of torque. It will be rivalling the Tesla Model Y and Hyundai Ioniq 5 and will be priced in the range of Rs 60 to 70 lakh.

Last on the list from MG will be the S5 EV. It will be launched to replace the aging ZS EV. Once launched, the new S5 EV will take on the Hyundai Creta Electric and will be priced in the range of Rs 22 to Rs 28 lakh. This mid-size premium electric SUV will be based on the Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) and will be slightly larger than the ZS EV.
It is expected to offer a longer wheelbase of around 2,730 mm. Reportedly, it will offer two battery pack options of 49 kWh and 62 to 64 kWh, offering a maximum range of 500 km. Power-wise, it could offer around 167 bhp and 250 Nm. As for features, it is expected to get a large 15.6-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and Level 2 ADAS.

Around the Diwali festive season of this year, JSW Group will be entering India with its new car brand, JSW Motors. It will be launching the Jetour T2 plug-in hybrid-based SUV, which will be priced in the range of Rs 38 to 40 lakh. It will come powered by the i-DM 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which will make 154 bhp and come paired with two electric motors. Its combined power will be 221 bhp and 390 Nm, and it will come mated to a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission.
This powertrain will also comprise a 26.7 kWh LFP battery, which will provide it an electric-only range of 139 km. Its styling has been inspired by the Land Rover Defender. The Jetour T2 plug-in hybrid will boast a flat bonnet, rectangular LED headlights and DRLs, large alloy wheels, a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, 220 mm ground clearance, and a 700 mm water-wading capacity. It will rival the Toyota Fortuner and will be a much more advanced SUV on all fronts.

Another SUV from JSW Motors will be its C-segment electric SUV, which will measure 4,380 mm in length and offer a 2,620 mm wheelbase. It will be slightly larger than the Creta Electric. The battery pack will be a 60.9 kWh unit with a claimed range of 461 km. As for its styling, it takes its inspiration from the Range Rover Evoque and Velar.
Interior highlights will include a 13.2-inch vertical touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, ventilated and powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone automatic climate control, and Level 2 ADAS. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 18–25 lakh.

One of the most unique and rugged-looking electric SUVs, which will go on sale in India, will be the Chery iCar V23, which will be launched by JSW Motors. It will boast a boxy, neo-retro off-roader styling inspired by the Land Rover Defender. It is expected to be offered with two powertrain options - RWD with 136 bhp and a 59.93 kWh battery (401 km range), and AWD with 211 bhp and an 81.76 kWh battery (510 km range).
It will also boast a 210 mm ground clearance. On the inside, it will come offered with a large 15.4-inch touchscreen and retro-style buttons for climate control. Most likely, it will be launched in late 2026 or early 2027 and will be priced in the range of Rs 18 to 25 lakh. Over its rivals, it will offer an AWD option with a 510 km range.

Stellantis Group, which currently owns and operates Jeep and Citroen in India, will soon be launching its new brand, Leapmotor. The first model, which will be launched by this brand, will be the B10 compact electric crossover on the LEAP 3.5 platform. It will take on the BYD Atto 3, MG S5 EV, and others.
It will be offered with two battery packs, namely 56.2 kWh (510 km) and 67.1 kWh (600 km range). The B10 will be brought in via the CKD route and will be assembled at the Ranjangaon facility, which is Stellantis's current plant for Jeep and Citroen.

Another mid-size electric SUV in the launch cards is the Leapmotor C10 electric SUV. It will be bigger than the Creta Electric and BE 6 and will be offered with a 69.9 kWh battery pack. The C10 is expected to offer a range of 424 km. Feature-wise, it will come offered with a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, a 12-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, and electrically adjustable front seats. Its expected pricing will be around Rs 15 to Rs 22 lakh, which will help it undercut the price of the Mahindra BE 6 and the Hyundai Creta Electric.

Last on this list is the Leapmotor T03, which will be an affordable electric hatchback that will directly rival the Tata Tiago.ev. It is expected to get a 37.3 kWh LFP battery pack and offer a claimed range of up to 395 km. In terms of features, it will come loaded with a 10.1-inch central touchscreen and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. Pricing of the T03 will be in the range of Rs 8 to 12 lakh. It will offer a much more premium design and interior than the Tiago.ev.

Another major Chinese automaker that already sells cars in India is BYD. Soon, it will be launching its Dolphin electric crossover. It will be a direct rival to the MG Windsor EV, which is currently one of the best-selling electric cars in the Indian market. It is expected to get two battery pack options - 44.9 kWh (340 km range) and 60.4 kWh (427 km range). It will produce 201 bhp, which will be much more than the Windsor EV’s 134 bhp. It will also be able to finish the sprint of 0 to 100 kmph in just 7 seconds.

Next up in the lineup from BYD will be the Atto 2 electric SUV. It will be a mid-size SUV that will directly rival the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, and others. The Atto 2 is expected to offer a 45.1 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 380 km. As for the electric motor, it will produce 175 bhp. Notable highlights over the Creta Electric will include a rotatable touchscreen infotainment system and its advanced Blade battery.

The BYD Atto 3 has been on sale in India for a while, and soon it will be getting a major facelift. It will rival the MG ZS EV, which is also about to get a major facelift. The Atto 3 will be offered with two battery packs, namely the 49.92 kWh (468 km range) and 60.48 kWh (521 km range). It will also make 201 bhp and support 80 kW DC fast charging. We can expect a major design update on the outside as well as the inside.

The BYD Sealion 6 will be one of the most unique products on offer in the Indian market. It will be a five-seater SUV with a plug-in hybrid system. It will not have any direct rival, but it will take on the upcoming MG 520 and Jetour T2 plug-in hybrid SUVs, which will be bigger in size. Its main highlight will be its 1.5-litre engine, which will come with an 18.3 kWh battery pack. Combined, it will provide a range of 1,100 km and 92 km of electric-only range.
