Tata Motors is one of the largest car manufacturer in India. Like most brands they have been working extensively on expanding their line up and also come up with new and interesting products. Earlier this year they launched the much awaited Sierra and now in the coming weeks we would see the electric version of the Sierra come to the market too. Sierra EV is not the only upcoming Tata. Here we have a list of 5 more Tata SUVs that are launching in India.

Tata is working on the electric version of their popular 7-seater SUV Safari for Indian market. The eSUV has been spotted testing multiple times and the official launch is expected to happen sometime around the festive season later this year. The SUV is expected to come with the same set of exterior design as the ICE version.
It would however get the EV specific changes like closed grille, alloy wheels with aero inserts, EV specific colours, ice grey interiors, panoramic sunroof, electric seats with memory function, seat ventilation for first two rows and more.
It will be based on the same platform as the Harrier EV and won’t be a born electric SUV. The SUV will be offered with 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options. It is expected to offer around 450-500 km range and the higher variants would also come with AWD option. When launched it would become the flagship EV model for Tata in India.

It won’t be sold via regular Tata dealership and Tata will be setting up a new dealership and sales network for this brand.
The Tata Avinya X will be a premium SUV available in 5, 6, and 7-seater configurations. Earlier the Avinya was planning to use Jaguar Land Rover’s EMA (Electrified Modular Architecture) platform.
However, it was recently revealed that the they have ditched that plan and will be using iMAX platform, sourced from Chery-Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) alliance in China. It is expected to be nearly 5 metres long and will come equipped with advanced features beyond what we currently see in Tata models.

Tata launched the all-new Sierra in the market last year. One feature that the ICE version currently misses out on is the AWD. Tata during the launch confrmed that the Sierra will be getting the AWD version in the future.
Tata will be launching the AWD version of the Sierra sometime in 2027. The ARGOS platform supports AWD setup It needs to be seen whether petrol or the diesel version would get the AWD feature.

Tata Harrier is one of the popular SUVs in this segment. It has been in the market for over 5 years and Tata is now said to be working on the next-generation model of the Harrier. The next-gen Harrier is expected to be shift from Land Rover derived D8 to a new flexible platform. This new platform will support both ICE and EVs and it will also allow Harrier to have AWD. It will continue to offer the same 2.0 litre turbo diesel and 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine.

After Harrier, Safari will also getting an upgrade and it would also use the same platform as the Harrier.
