Recently, the popular politician Dhananjay Singh from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, was on a podcast, and during his conversation, he revealed why he owns five Toyota Fortuners. He also explains why he thinks the Fortuner is better than a Land Rover Defender.
The video in which Dhanajay Singh talks about his preference for the Toyota Fortuner over any other vehicle has been shared on Instagram by Sagar Sinha Podcast on their page. It starts off with the host asking Singh about the number of cars that he owns. To this, Singh replies that he personally owns five cars, and all of them are Toyota Fortuners.
Following which, the host asks him that just a little while ago, a video became viral online in which he was seen taking delivery of a Toyota Vellfire luxury MPV worth Rs 1.2 crore. As a result, the politician replies that the Vellfire belongs to his wife, and only she uses it. He added that he only uses a Toyota Fortuner.
While elaborating on his choice of the Toyota Fortuner, Dhananjay Singh mentions that a while ago, he was attacked by some people. Following which, he was given Z+ security by the Government of India. It was then reduced to Y+, and later, the security cover was withdrawn. As a result, he now uses an armoured Toyota Fortuner as his personal security protocol.
He then explained further that he uses the Fortuner because he has to travel a lot in the rural areas, and other vehicles will not be suitable for rough usage. The host then states that nowadays, the Land Rover Defender has become very popular, and it is considered a very rough and tough vehicle.
To this, Singh replies that, according to him, for Asian and African continents, any Toyota vehicle is best. He added that he has owned a Range Rover, particularly the Sport variant, in the past. However, he did not like it very much. He added that those vehicles are good if you have to drive yourself. However, when it comes to overall quality and reliability, nothing can beat a Toyota.
