The Vietnamese electric carmaker VinFast recently launched its affordable electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, in India. Now, as the deliveries of these SUVs have commenced, a few people have also started sharing their ownership reviews of these vehicles. Recently, an owner of a VinFast VF6 shared his thoughts on the vehicle after driving it over 2,400 km since its delivery.
This 2,400 km ownership review of the VinFast VF6 has been shared on YouTube by Manish Sharma on his channel. It starts off with the owner mentioning that he recently took delivery of the vehicle and has driven it over 2,400 km. He then starts highlighting all the things he likes and dislikes about the VinFast VF6.

Starting off the review, the owner highlights that the first thing he would like to talk about is the central touchscreen infotainment system of this SUV. For those who may not be aware, the VinFast VF6 is offered only with a massive 12.9-inch display in the middle. This same screen displays everything, including music and the web browser, and it is also the instrument cluster.
This particular screen is oriented towards the driver, and he can see all the information like the speed, RPM, and other details on the right side. In this video, the owner mentions that over his ownership, this particular screen has not lagged once and has been very smooth and responsive. The next thing he appreciates about this vehicle is the unique feature that it offers.

He mentions that whenever the reverse button is pressed in the vehicle, the left-side ORVM automatically turns down to show any obstacle that might not be visible. Following this, he then starts talking about the 360-degree reverse camera. The owner adds that the VF6, like the Harrier.ev, offers a transparent mode, which is very useful.
Next up, he talks about the range of the vehicle and mentions that over his ownership, it has offered him a range of 370–390 km depending on the speeds. He added that when driving moderately at around 80–90 kmph, the above range can be easily expected. He added that if the vehicle is driven over 100 kmph, then the range drops quickly.
Moving on, he added that the sports mode of this vehicle is amazing and it almost feels like a rocket. Talking about the driving experience, the owner highlights that the suspension of the vehicle is also very nice, and even at the top speed of 178 kmph, it feels planted. The only downside is that on extremely rough roads, due to its weight, the lower portion can get very close to the ground.

Speaking of one unique experience with the vehicle, he first stated that there are no physical buttons for the ORVMs or start/stop, which is a bit annoying. He then mentions one day when he parked the vehicle, its screen, AC, and motor were not turning off. He then contacted VinFast, who told him to disconnect and reconnect the negative battery terminal of the 12V battery in the front.
He then did the same, but it did not work. After some time, he noted that the rear seat belts of the vehicle were engaged despite nobody sitting on them. As a result, he disengaged them, and it was then noted that the vehicle immediately turned off. He then stated that this is a good and unique feature, which he has never seen before.
