Shenaz Treasury Shows Off Uber Luxury Intercity Caravan Service: Private Jet On Wheels
The ride-hailing service operator Uber has rolled out a new luxury intercity service. For this, the company is offering a luxury caravan to travel from one city to another in a custom-built caravan which offers numerous exquisite amenities. Recently, popular influencer Shenaz Treasury used an Uber Intercity Urbania luxury MPV to travel from Mumbai to Pune, and in her video she shows all the interesting amenities offered in this caravan.
The video showing the Uber Intercity caravan in detail has been shared on Instagram by Shenaz Treasury on her page. It starts off with the influencer mentioning that she recently heard of Uber’s new intercity travel service where a luxury caravan is offered, following which she then shows a customized Force Urbania arriving at her residence to pick her up.
In the clip, she highlights that her parents came to help her board the caravan. However, after taking a peek inside the cabin, they started enjoying it so much that they did not want to leave. Her mother can be heard saying that it feels like the cabin of a first-class airplane. Soon after, she waves goodbye to her parents and her journey from Mumbai to Pune starts.
The influencer first off shows the main highlight of this caravan, which is its 180-degree reclining captain seats. These seats come equipped with a massager, ventilation, and heating. It also gets extendable leg rests which add to the comfort. In addition to these, the caravan also gets a sofa which can be converted into a bed as well.
Apart from these, other amenities offered in the Uber Intercity caravan include a fridge, a private toilet, a complete kitchen with electric induction and a microwave. Additionally, there are ambient lights inside the cabin which are controlled via a touchscreen panel and can be turned on or off and can also be dimmed as well.
She then highlights that the Uber Intercity caravan is perfect for road trips. This is because the luxury caravan comes with a driver and a helper. Overall, she mentions that it is a very nice service and the quality of the vehicle is very good.
Initially, Uber Intercity with these luxury motorhomes was launched in Delhi during the monsoon season. However, the company has now announced that this service has been expanded to Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune as well. This expansion is a result of the high demand from customers. In Delhi, when this service was launched, it saw 100 percent occupancy every day.
These luxury caravans, in addition to a driver and a helper, also come with amenities including live ride tracking, 24x7 support, advance booking via Uber Reserve, and the ability to add stops en route. Currently, the most popular routes include Mumbai-Pune, Delhi-Agra, Bangalore-Mysore, Lucknow-Kanpur, and Ahmedabad-Vadodara. As for pricing, currently the Mumbai-Pune trip costs Rs 7,500.
Uber has announced that its Intercity service has now expanded to over 3,000 routes across the country for its standard vehicles. It represents a 50 percent growth in city-to-city connectivity. The company has highlighted that intercity services become popular during weekends. People are using this service for round trips and one-way trips.
