Venu Gopalakrishnan, the tech CEO from South India, has recently been making headlines with his luxury car/ supercar shopping spree. In the recent past, we saw many multi-crore cars and SUVs reaching his garage in Kochi. Venu’s latest acquisition is a brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto, which has an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.89 Crores in India. The Litmus7 CEO’s garage already has two other Lamborghinis- a Huracan Sterrato and an Urus Performante.
Venu took delivery of his new Revuelto in style. He took his Sterrato and Urus to Kochi’s Crown Plaza, where a private handover event was organized. Photos of the three Lamborghinis parked next to each other were later shared online, adding to the excitement of auto enthusiasts.

The video starts by showing his Urus and Starrato reach the hotel. Then we see the Revuelto getting offloaded from a covered flatbed. We can also hear the breathtaking growl of its 6.5L V12. The CEO then makes a grand entry in his Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Black Badge (He was reportedly the first one to buy it in India), together with his family.

The video then shows the event. The Revuelto is kept under a veil in the centre, with the Urus and Sterrato parked on either side. The family unveils it together, and Venu receives the key from the dealer. They then celebrate the purchase by cutting a cake. Venu then hops inside and gives his son a quick tour of the 1000+hp hypercar. He revs the car, and we can see the kid’s face brighten up at the exhaust note.

Venu’s latest (and third) Lamborghini is also Kerala’s first Revuelto! It comes finished in the matte Verde Turbine colour, which is a part of the ‘Tecnica’ palette. Interestingly, Lamborghini Bengaluru’s demo car also wears the same colour.
Days before commencing this delivery, the dealer car was spotted giving test drive experiences to some prospective buyers in Kochi. When news and images of Venu’s new Revuelto first surfaced online, many thought it to be him test driving the car. Many failed to spot that the CEO’s car had a different set of wheels! The delivery video and further images that came later, however, shattered such speculations.

The other two Lamborghinis in Venu’s collection are as unique as the new one. He is the only person to own a Lamborghini Sterrato in Kerala. The Sterrato, if you’d recall, was the rally-going version of the Huracan, powered by the same 5.2L V10 engine as the regular coupe. Its production was limited to just 1,499 units globally!
Venu’s Urus Performante is finished in a shade of Green and has a very expensive number plate. He made headlines by paying Rs 45.99 lakh for the registration number ‘KL 07 DG 0007’.

The Revuelto is currently the most expensive car that Lamborghini sells in India. The 8.89-crore ex-showroom price would mean an on-road price of over Rs 11 Crores in Kerala. It is, in fact, the carmaker’s first-ever plug-in hybrid supercar and a successor to the legendary Aventador.
The Revuelto is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, mated to a 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack-based hybrid system. The battery powers three electric motors- two on the front axle and one at the rear.
The engine alone generates 825 PS and 725 Nm, while the setup’s combined output stands much higher, at 1,015 PS and 807 Nm! Making things more exciting, the Revuelto is a Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) car that does 0-100 kph in just 2.5 seconds! The top speed is said to be 350kph.
