We already know that Tata is all set to launch their much-awaited SUV, the Sierra, in the market. Tata has already released several teaser videos of the new Sierra, and we know what the SUV would look like. Based on the images and videos of the concept showcased at the expo, many artists have already started creating content around the Sierra. Here we have one such social media post where an artist imagined how Tata Sierra’s Stealth and Neon Teal Edition might look.
The digitally rendered images and videos have been shared by Torque India on their X profile. In this social media post, we see an AI-generated video created using a rendered image of a Tata Sierra Stealth Edition.
We know that Tata had launched the Stealth Edition of the Harrier and Safari SUVs in the market. The Sierra Stealth is inspired by that. It is based on the regular Sierra, but the exterior is completely blacked out. The front grille, wheels, roof, and even the pillars are finished in a matte black shade.
The red brake calipers at the front and rear give the SUV a sporty character too. The wheel arch claddings are all finished in gloss or piano black. We also see Sierra-branded LED tail lamps in this AI video.
The next video under the same post is from Neon Teal Edits. They have reimagined the Sierra SUV in a Neon Teal shade. The SUV seen here is finished in a very beautiful shade of blue along with a blacked-out roof and thick cladding. This is also based on the images of the Sierra that have been released online.
It should be noted that the videos seen here are digitally rendered ones and not of actual models. Tata might not launch a variant or shade like this with the Sierra at the time of launch. However, being Tata, they might introduce Dark or Stealth Editions of the Sierra at a later stage, but the Neon Edition is unlikely to come.
The Sierra brand is coming back to the Indian market, and many are actually excited about it. The original Sierra was a three-door compact SUV that offered several features considered premium at that time. It had a large glass window for the rear passengers. Sadly, our market was not ready for such a product, and Tata had to discontinue the Sierra.
The new Sierra is inspired by the original, but other than the name, both SUVs have nothing in common. The Sierra is based on the ATLAS platform and will be offered with premium features like a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, seat ventilation, automatic climate control, triple screens on the dashboard, and more.
It will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. There will be an all-new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that will generate around 170 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The diesel version will use the same 2.0-litre turbocharged unit that generates 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque.
Both petrol and diesel versions are likely to be offered with manual and automatic transmission options. Soon after the launch of the Sierra, Tata will also be launching the Sierra.ev in the market.
