Driving recklessly on Indian roads has almost become a common thing. Sadly, this so-called normalised behaviour on our roads often becomes the cause of accidents. We have come across several videos on the internet that show how dangerous this behaviour can be. Many individuals try to push their cars without actually knowing their limits as drivers. They often try to show off their driving skills and end up crashing. Here we have one such video where a young driver in a Tata Tigor sedan crashes into other vehicles and topples the sedan after driving the car at 150 kmph.
The video has been shared by Torque India on their X profile. In this video, we see a young driver behind the wheel of a Tata Tigor sedan. It looks like he is with his friends on an expressway. The exact location where the video was recorded is not known, but it looks like somewhere in Delhi NCR, probably the Taj Expressway that goes towards Agra.
In the video, we clearly see the speedometer readings of the Tata Tigor. The car was driven well above the 150 kmph mark. The speed limit on the expressway is 100 kmph, and during winters it is reduced due to safety reasons. The driver, as mentioned above, is young, and he was probably trying to impress his friends with his driving skills.

He drives the car at high speed and spots a couple of cars in front of him. If you notice the video carefully, he was driving in the middle lane at high speed. The rightmost lane, or the overtaking lane, was empty. Instead of overtaking from the right lane, the Tigor driver decided to move the car to the left lane and overtake through the gap between the vehicles.
While he had planned this in his mind, the car probably had other plans. At such high speeds, even a minor change in steering input could leave the car out of control. That is what happened here as well. The driver moved the steering, but the car understeered and lost control. It crashed into the car in front, and in no time, the Tigor had toppled.
The same video circulating on other social media profiles mentions that the occupants of the Tata Tigor escaped with minor injuries. The rear of the car that the Tigor crashed into is also damaged. It looks like the Tigor, after hitting the car, had crashed into the railing on the road. The front, bonnet, and tailgate are all damaged, along with the doors. While we are thankful that the occupants escaped without any serious injuries, this incident is yet another example of how reckless driving on public roads has consequences.
Public roads are for everyone, and they are not a place to perform stunts. If you really want to show off your driving skills, take your car to a closed road, private property, or a race track. Doing such stunts on public roads is extremely dangerous, and the Tigor driver was not only putting his own life at risk but also the lives of his occupants and other innocent road users who had nothing to do with this.
