Prakash Raj is one of the finest actors in the Indian film industry. He has been a part of several Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, and other regional films. He is known for the roles he has played across multiple languages. Like most actors, Prakash Raj also owns several expensive cars. However, what sets him apart from others is his love for customisation. He often buys new cars and gets them customised almost immediately. He recently bought a Toyota Hilux pickup truck and got it customised to suit his taste.
The video has been shared by Wrapzilla on their Instagram page. They have customised multiple vehicles for Prakash Raj in the past, and this is the latest vehicle he purchased and brought to their workshop for customisation. We already know that Prakash Raj is a big fan of the colour black, and most of his cars are finished in this shade. The Hilux is no exception.
However, he chose a different shade of wrap for this pickup truck, which we will discuss shortly. He had a clear vision of converting the pickup truck into a camper van or an overlanding vehicle. The rear bed of the truck was enclosed, and several changes were made to reinforce the structure from the inside.
We can also see him working closely with the team before finalising the modifications. He is seen taking measurements of the metal frame for the roof, on which he plans to install a tent. The exact details of the customisations are not known. The enclosed rear section of the Hilux is finished in matte black, or possibly a Line-X coating. The alloy wheels and tyres on the Hilux appear to be stock. It looks like the actor plans to use this vehicle for adventure trips in the future.

At the start of the video, the pickup truck is seen in its original black colour. However, towards the end, the entire vehicle is wrapped in a different shade. The truck gets a matte or satin maroon wrap, which looks elegant and complements the black theme of the vehicle. There are no chrome elements, which further enhances the vehicle’s unique character. Prakash Raj’s love for cars and customisation is clearly reflected in this Hilux build.
The Hilux is an extremely popular 4x4 lifestyle pickup truck internationally. However, in India, it remains a niche product due to its pricing. It is popular among off-road and adventure enthusiasts, and several online videos showcase its capabilities.
The Hilux is powered by a 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 205 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. It is available with both manual and automatic transmission options, with 4x4 offered as standard.
Apart from the newly purchased Toyota Hilux, Prakash Raj also owns a Force Urbania finished in black with customised interiors to his liking. He also owns a Land Rover Defender 110, which features a matte black wrap.
