Each and every day, we come across a video online which shows us that people in India are extremely innovative. This time around, what has shocked us is a video which shows that a Maruti Suzuki Fronx owner has come up with a method of fitting a liquor dispensing machine in his crossover SUV. Yes, an automated dispenser which dispenses alcohol while sitting or driving the car on public roads!
The video showing this unique liquor dispensing machine and system has been shared on Instagram by Sagar Raway nsc on their page. It starts off with the cameraman showing the boot of this particular Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The owner of the car mentions and shows the windshield wiper fluid holder which has been mounted on the left side of the boot of this vehicle.

He states that this is the setup and tank where you can add the alcohol and water according to your preference and measurements. The owner adds that it has a capacity of 2.5 litres. Following this, he then takes the cameraman to the cabin of the car to show the dispensing system. It can be noted that just beside the air conditioning system above the passenger footwell, there is a small pipe.
The owner then presses a red button on the right side, and we can note that the mixed alcohol mixture flows out of the pipe and fills the whiskey glass held by the owner. Following this, the owner then shows the glass and keeps it in the cupholder in the middle.

As unique and innovative as this system of dispensing alcohol may be, we cannot undermine the fact that this is illegal and leads to the danger of drinking and driving in public. Already, people are drinking and driving, and if more people start adding such setups to dispense alcohol on the go, it will lead to an increase in the number of road accidents, which will be fatal in a lot of cases.
Now, whether any action has been taken against this particular car driver or not has not been reported at the moment. However, most likely, if this video reaches police authorities, action will be taken against the owner. The authorities could heavily fine the owner and also get this setup removed from the vehicle.

As mentioned a million times before, drinking and driving is not cool. In most cases, when people are heavily drunk, they lose their attention and balance, which directly increases the chance of an accident. Each and every day, there are thousands of cases and accidents of drunk driving, and a lot of them are fatal. So it becomes the responsibility of the driver or the car owner to make sure that they do not have any alcohol in their body.
The only case when alcohol is helpful in a car is when it is used as a windshield wiper fluid replacement. As weird as it may sound, a little while ago a video became viral online. In this short clip, a few old men were seen pouring vodka in the windshield wiper fluid container of a Toyota Fortuner on a cold mountain road.

For those who may not be aware, this is a hack that many people who drive in sub-freezing temperatures use. What happens in such conditions is that the fluid in the windshield wiper reservoir freezes, as the water inside freezes at 0°C.
However, as alcohol has a very low freezing point of -114°C (pure ethanol), mixing it with the water in the windshield wiper fluid reservoir helps in avoiding the freezing of water. If a lower freezing point liquid is not added into the reservoir, there is a high chance that frozen water, which expands in size, can break the entire reservoir, causing inconvenience. So people add alcohol to the reservoir to make sure that they can use the wiper during journeys in cold areas.
