While the number of exotic car owners in India has gone up, they are still not a very common sight in many of our cities. The main reason for that is our road infrastructure. While we do have new highways and expressways being built, the roads in most towns and cities have several flaws - and large, unscientific speed breakers are one such flaw. Low-slung supercars are not meant for such speed breakers, and their owners are often forced to find other ways to go around them. Here, we have one such video that shows exactly that.
The video has been shared by Instagram user Sahil R. Thakor on his Instagram page. The exact location where the video was recorded is not known, but it looks like the owner of the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar wandered off the highway and took a detour into the city.
He might have soon realized that it was a mistake after he spotted cars and other vehicles on the crowded, narrow city roads. To add to his misery, he came across a huge speed breaker on the road. The locals who use normal cars, bikes, and other modes of transport wouldn’t have felt a thing - it was business as usual - but for supercar owners, a speed breaker is one of the worst nightmares they can have.

While we have come across videos of several unscientifically built speed breakers in the past, this one looks slightly different. As the video was recorded from a close distance, we are not entirely sure whether the ground clearance of the vehicle, the height of the speed breaker, or both were the problem in this case.
The Lamborghini owner decided to tackle this particular obstacle the same way many other supercar owners in the country do. The owner turned the steering before the speed breaker, ensuring that the car’s tyres got onto it at an angle so that the bumper or nose of the supercar wouldn’t crash into the hump.
Locals were excited to see a supercar in their neighborhood, and we can see them gathered around the Revuelto. It looks like the Lamborghini driver had also hired a few personal security officers who were guiding him on how to drive the car over the speed breaker.
The owner of the Revuelto was mainly worried that he might scrape the underbody of the car on the speed breaker or, in the worst case, even get beached. This is actually not the first time we’ve seen videos like this - but it’s still not boring to watch.
We have even seen local authorities build speed breakers so huge that even SUVs get beached on them. In fact, in many cities, authorities build drains and, to connect the drains on both sides of the road, they create a channel. This channel is often converted into a speed breaker, causing inconvenience not just to locals but also to those driving sedans or other cars with low ground clearance.
