The Kia Seltos facelift is being offered by the company with the same engine options as before. Of these, the most popular engine option is the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol. The only problem with it is that those who have a higher daily running find its mileage very poor, and hence they opt for aftermarket CNG kits. Recently, showing the newly launched facelifted Kia Seltos with an aftermarket CNG kit, a video has been shared online. It is the first new Kia Seltos to get the CNG kit installed.
This video of the Kia Seltos facelift with an aftermarket CNG kit has been shared on YouTube by Sai Fuel Vadodara on their channel. For those who may not be aware, Sai Fuel Vadodara is one of the most popular shops which offers aftermarket CNG kits and their installation for a number of popular cars in India.
In this video, the presenter mentions that they have recently finished the installation of the CNG kit on this new-generation Kia Seltos. He highlights that it is the first Seltos facelift in India to get this kit. Following this, he then adds that currently he is tuning the CNG ECU to make sure that the vehicle is completely jerk-free and there is no lag.

After this, the presenter then shows the CNG gauge and indicator installed inside the vehicle. He adds that currently the vehicle is running with CNG. Moving ahead, the presenter then opens the bonnet of this SUV and shows the CNG rail, which provides CNG to the injectors. Also, he shows the CNG ECU placed on the front left side of the vehicle.
Next up, he moves to the rear of this particular Kia Seltos and opens the boot of this SUV. He states that they have added a single 10 kg cylinder in the rear, which has been mounted perfectly to make sure that it does not move or wobble. Additionally, the presenter adds that the boot capacity has not been compromised a lot, and the spare tyre is still easily accessible.

Following this, the host then opens the fuel filler cap and mentions that they have added the CNG filling nozzle next to the petrol filling nozzle. He highlights that this has been done to make it easier for the owner to fill the CNG tank without opening the bonnet, as most vehicles get the nozzle fitted under the bonnet at the front.
Finally, he then starts driving the Seltos with the CNG kit on the highway. He highlights that after pressing the accelerator, it can be noted that there is no jerk and the acceleration is very smooth and linear. He added that they recently also fitted a CNG kit on the Sierra as well, making it the first Tata Sierra in India to get a CNG kit.

In this particular video, the presenter does not mention the exact mileage of the Kia Seltos fitted with the CNG kit. However, we do know the mileage of the Kia Seltos with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. From the company, the standard vehicle offers a mileage of 17.9 kmpl (ARAI-certified).
However, in reality, it offers a mileage of around 10–13 kmpl in the city and 15–17 kmpl on highways. Additionally, the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine claims an ARAI-certified mileage of 17.7–17.9 kmpl. However, in reality, it provides a mileage of around 10–12 kmpl.
