The car culture in India has changed significantly over the decades. Today, the country has a growing population of expensive and exotic cars, and in cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru, spotting a sports car on the road is no longer a rare sight. Many young entrepreneurs have also started investing in such high-end vehicles.
John Alukka, CEO of Jos Alukkas - an Indian jewellery retail group based in South India - is a well-known car and bike enthusiast. He owns an impressive collection of vehicles, and the latest addition to his garage is a brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto. Here’s a video that shows him taking delivery of the supercar.
The video has been shared by John Alukkas on his Instagram page. In the clip, the billionaire jeweller, along with his friends and family, is seen arriving at a resort in a small boat. The delivery ceremony was organised at the resort, as Lamborghini does not currently have a dealership in Kerala.
The car was most likely transported to Kerala from Bengaluru. It was parked on the lawn of the resort, where John Alukkas got off the boat and completed the necessary paperwork. Once that was done, the Lamborghini was unveiled, giving us a clear look at the car.
He has opted for a brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto finished in a black shade, paired with silver-finished alloy wheels. The interior of the supercar is finished in a striking combination of black and orange, giving it a sporty appeal.

The Lamborghini Revuelto was officially unveiled in March 2023 and was introduced in the Indian market in December 2023. Like many Lamborghini models, the Revuelto has found a healthy number of buyers in India. According to reports, Lamborghini has been allocated only a limited number of units, and the brand has already announced that the Revuelto is sold out until 2026.
The Revuelto is Lamborghini’s current flagship model and serves as a replacement for the legendary Aventador. What makes the Revuelto special - and different from previous Lamborghini models - is the fact that it is the brand’s first plug-in hybrid supercar.
The Revuelto is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with three electric motors and a 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Lamborghini claims this is their lightest and most powerful V12 engine yet, producing 825 PS and 725 Nm of torque. When combined with the electric motors - two at the front and one at the rear - the total system output rises to an impressive 1,015 PS and 807 Nm of torque.
The electric motors on the front axle power the front wheels, while the rear-mounted motor assists the engine in driving the rear wheels. Power is transmitted via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Lamborghini claims that the plug-in hybrid supercar can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, while the top speed is said to be around 350 km/h. A brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto is priced at approximately ₹9 crore (ex-showroom).
Apart from the newly acquired Revuelto, John Alukkas also owns a Lamborghini Huracán with several performance modifications. His collection further includes cars such as the Toyota Vellfire, Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz SLK, Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, Mahindra Thar, Mahindra BE6, MG Cyberster, and more.
