There is probably hardly anyone who doesn’t like receiving a gift. Earlier, the definition of a gift was something you gave to someone or received from someone else. Over the years, however, this definition has evolved - and so has the value of gifts. Today, we often see people gifting expensive cars and bikes to parents, spouses, siblings, and even children. Many also choose to gift something special to themselves as a reward for their hard work and success.
Here is one such social media post featuring an Indian businessman living abroad who gifted himself a brand-new Rolls-Royce Ghost on his birthday.
The post was shared by Ronnie Kishore on his Instagram page. Ronnie is an Indian businessman who runs his business in Florida, USA. He recently posted images of himself standing next to a Rolls-Royce Ghost, revealing in the caption that the luxury sedan was a birthday gift to himself.
The businessman turned 40, and this purchase was not just a birthday gift but also a retirement gift. It appears that he has spent several years 0 possibly decades - working hard overseas. Now that his business has become successful, he has decided to retire early and enjoy the rewards of his efforts.

In the images, Ronnie is seen taking delivery of the Rolls-Royce from a dealership. It appears that he opted for a home delivery. Several other cars can be seen parked on the driveway and along the street. While it is unclear whether all the vehicles belong to him, we do spot a Lamborghini Aventador parked on a driveway in front of a Nissan Pathfinder, along with other luxury cars such as a Mercedes-Benz S-Class on the same street.
The Rolls-Royce seen in the images is the current-generation Rolls-Royce Ghost, a luxury saloon that is extremely popular among wealthy businessmen and celebrities. The Ghost is often regarded as a strong status symbol. It is the entry-level limousine in the Rolls-Royce lineup, with the Phantom being the brand’s flagship model. Rolls-Royce also offers the Cullinan, its first SUV, and the Spectre, the brand’s first fully electric vehicle.
The car seen here is the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II, the updated version of the limousine. It comes with a redesigned front end featuring the signature grille, projector headlamps, and integrated LED DRLs. The rear has also been updated with a revised tail-lamp design featuring banded LED elements. The Ghost is available with 22-inch alloy wheels as an option.
Powering the Rolls-Royce Ghost is a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine that produces 571 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque. Rolls-Royce also offers a Black Badge version of the Ghost, which delivers 600 PS and 900 Nm of torque from the same engine.
In India, the price of a brand-new Rolls-Royce Ghost starts at Rs 8.95 crore (ex-showroom). Depending on the level of customisation and optional extras, the final price can increase significantly. In markets such as the United States, the same model is generally priced lower compared to India.
