Tata Motors now has a strong foothold in the Indian market. It even leads the game in some segments. The Indian carmaker has managed to gather a lot of brand-loyal buyers in the past few years. We have come across multiple instances of existing Tata owners upgrading to newer ones. A video shared on Instagram by ‘Red Tata Curvv’ shows a family that bought six Tata cars in 8 years. The garage now consists of the Punch, Curvv, Harrier, Tiago and a brand-new Nexon (which is their sixth and latest addition).
As the video opens, we see an aerial view of four Tata cars and SUV parked near a tree. A Black Tata Harrier and Red Tata Curvv SUV coupe is parked in the front row. Behind them, a Tata Tiago and Punch can also be seen. The safety levels offered by these vehicles seem to have impressed this family.
Then, we see each of these cars and SUVs up closer. Soon after this, we get our first of the sixth purchase- a Nexon. The SUV is initially kept covered by a veil. The family is seen standing nearby, as the cover is removed.

In the description. the Instagram handle has written more about the garage. The newest purchase is the second Nexon in the collection. Tata Motors now has a strong presence in both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and EV segments. All of the vehicles featured in this video have all-electric counterparts. As can be seen in the clip here, this family has opted for an all-ICE lineup.

The family further talks about their ownership experience with these vehicles. As much as they are praised for their safety levels and crashworthiness, Tata models are often criticised when it comes to long-term ownership experience.
Having owned five models in the past eight years, this family’s feedback definitely stands important. The Instagram handle mentions that they only faced minor issues with these vehicles and the overall experience has been nice.
The Instagrammer here, has taken the Curvv to Spiti. His handle has more videos and pictures of this expedition. He says that the service experience has been ‘perfect’ so far. The post concludes by saying that ‘ Unlucky guys post negativity for TATA to get views and shares.’
The post has sparked discussions online. In the comments section, we can see other Tata owners sharing their service and ownership experiences. We can also see comments from people who own multiple Tata cars, just like the person who posted this video. Most of them seem to be happy with the ownership.

A comment reads ‘We have 2 punch 2 year old nexon 1 year old with 0 problems’. Another user wrote: “Congratulations my family from past 21 yrs we have 3 generation cars, starting with indica v2, zest, curvv”. A third user said ‘We have 1 Tiago 8 year old no issues’.
Safety and crashworthiness offered by these vehicles lure more people into buying Tata cars and SUVs. It is interesting to see how the manufacturer has managed to capitalise on the increasing safety consciousness of Indian buyers, with products that perform well in crash tests, and generate sales.

The Nexon, first launched in 2017, and the Punch that came in 2021, continue to be in huge demand in India. Both these SUVs are offered with a range of powertrains and in a lot of variant. These have managed to maximize their appeal, eventually leading to mounting sales. The cumulative sales of the Nexon has been over 9 lakh units, while those of the Punch crossed 6 lakh units. Together, 1.5 million units of the duo have so far reached owners. Even the family here has owned a Punch and two Nexons! Shows just how popular these are...
