Classic Car Rally In Mumbai, Many Celebs' Cars Make Appearance [Video]

Popular automotive magazine and website Autocar India recently organised a Modern Classic Rally in Mumbai. The 2026 edition of the rally saw a huge number of participants and was a grand success. The display event of the Modern Classic Rally 2026 happened on January 31, and the actual rally was held on February 1. We have already seen several videos and images of the event online. Here we have a video that gives us a glimpse of the vehicles that were present at the event. Some of these cars belonged to billionaire businessmen and celebrities.

The video seen here has been shared by CS12 Vlogs on his YouTube channel. In this video, we see the vlogger standing outside the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, from where the rally was flagged off. At this event, we see several exotic and rare cars. Some of these are extremely rare, and most of them are well maintained by their owners.

The first car seen in the video is a Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta. The next car we see is a Dodge Viper, which is probably a first-generation model. Behind that comes a Ford Mustang. It is different from the typical Mustang that people know of, as it is actually the third-generation model of the American muscle car.

Behind that, we have another Ford Mustang, and we also see a kid driving out in a toy version of the Shelby Cobra. Spectators were actually surprised to see a toy like that. There were more Ferrari supercars in the convoy, along with several generations of the Porsche 911, Audi R8 V10, Mercedes SLS AMG with gullwing doors, and more.

If you watch the video carefully, you will realise that many cars in this convoy have the letters YZP on their number plates. This is actually an identification mark. We are sure people who have been following CarToq for a very long time already know who these cars belong to. Many of these cars are actually owned by billionaire businessman Yohan Poonawalla.

We also saw a second-generation Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, finished in a shade of pink. Even the interiors are finished in a unique combination of white and red. We also see cars like the Mazda Miata, BMW Z4, Subaru Impreza WRX STI, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Dodge Challenger, and many more.

In fact, the rally even had a Plymouth Prowler, which is a very unique-looking American car. This car was once owned by Vijay Mallya. Towards the end of the video, we see several older 901, 964, and 991 generations of Porsche 911 joining the convoy.

Along with that, we also saw several new-generation Mercedes-AMG models along with classic W124s and SLKs. In the next part, we see classic cars from brands like Lincoln and Rolls-Royce join the rally. We even had cars like the Lotus Elise, Aston Martin, and Lamborghini Huracan participate in the rally.

The cars were seen plying through the Coastal Road in Mumbai. Most of them were driving within the speed limits, as they were part of a rally and were not racing against each other. This was actually a great opportunity for the people of Mumbai to see so many rare, exotic, classic, and modern classic cars at once.
