Generally, when we see the members of India's richest family — the Ambani family — we see them being driven around in ultra-luxury cars like Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, and Mercedes-Maybachs. However, there is one member of the Ambani family who loves the Toyota Camry over these luxury cars. This person is none other than Anand Piramal, the son-in-law of Mukesh Ambani, who married his daughter Isha Ambani.
Recently, a video showing Anand Piramal with his Toyota Camry was shared on YouTube by CS12 Vlogs on their channel. In this short clip, we can note that Anand Piramal was walking towards his Camry with a few security guards around him. They then guided him to take the front seat, while two people sat in the rear. The billionaire was seen smiling at the camera after sitting in the car.

The above video is not the only time he has been seen in a Toyota Camry. Earlier last year, when Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were about to get married, there was a pre-wedding dinner organized at Antilia. At this dinner, Anand Piramal was seen arriving in very casual attire in his previous-generation Toyota Camry sedan.

Also, a few months before that, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal were out on a dinner date. At the time of leaving, both Isha and Anand were seen ditching Isha’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan and sitting in a two-generations-old black Toyota Camry. Soon after this, their entire convoy, including the Cullinan, multiple Scorpios, Endeavours, Fortuners, and others, was seen on the road.

The Toyota Camry is one of the most reliable and affordable hybrid luxury cars in the market. The one that Anand Piramal primarily uses is a previous-generation model, which at the time was priced at Rs 46 lakh. Recently, the company launched the latest-generation Camry in India, which currently starts at Rs 47.48 lakh and goes up to Rs 47.62 lakh (price depending on color and edition).

This newer-generation Camry comes with sleek LED headlights with C-shaped LED DRLs, a unique hexagonal grille with horizontal slats finished in body color, and a new front bumper. On the sides, it gets a brand-new set of 18-inch diamond-cut multi-spoke alloy wheels. As for the rear, it comes with new wraparound LED taillights and a black piece on the boot with “Camry” lettering.
On the inside, the latest Camry gets a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that dominates the center of the dashboard. Additionally, there is a 10-inch digital instrument gauge cluster for the driver. Apart from these, it also gets a 9-speaker JBL audio system, multi-zone climate control, a single-pane sunroof, and ventilated seats. It also features 10-way powered seats with controls in the rear.

Powering the latest Camry is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine. It produces a maximum power of 230 bhp and 221 Nm of torque. As for the transmission, it comes with an eCVT gearbox. The new sedan also gets three driving modes — Sport, Eco, and Normal.

The youngest son of Mukesh Ambani is a Rolls-Royce fan and owns a number of Cullinans, including a few Black Badge versions, a Phantom Drophead Coupé, and a few others. Most recently, he also bought himself a brand-new Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII Extended Wheelbase, finished in a very unique shade of “Star of India Orange.”

This particular color is a nod to the paint scheme used in the 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II commissioned for the Maharajah of Rajkot, Gujarat. This All-Weather Coachwork was done by Thrupp & Maberly and was called the ‘Star of India.’
