The number of young businessmen and entrepreneurs in India has gone up over the last decade. Most successful entrepreneurs seem to be following a similar pattern. Apart from spending money on expanding their businesses, they also live a lavish lifestyle and buy expensive cars. One such young Indian entrepreneur is 27 year-old Amit Singh. He is a car enthusiast and the owner of Fusion Gym. It looks like his favourite luxury SUV is the G-Wagen. Why do we say so? He has just taken delivery of his fifth G63 AMG SUV.
The videos and images have been shared by Amit Singh on his Instagram page. He posted the image with a caption: “Feeling Blessed ??️ Mumbai’s 1st new G63 in Classic Grey with Bengal Red interiors. G-Wagon No. 5.”
The demand for the new G-Wagen has gone up over the last year, and there is a reason behind it. Mercedes-Benz, like most car manufacturers, is slowly planning to shift from ICE vehicles to EVs. As part of this strategy, they already have an electric version of the G-Wagen in the market.
So, this is probably the last chance for enthusiasts to buy a G-Wagen with a petrol engine.
The car seen here is finished in a shade of grey, and Amit mentions that this is the first G-Wagen in Mumbai to get this colour. The SUV also gets red-coloured interiors, which give it a sporty look and feel.
The G63 AMG is a popular SUV among wealthy businessmen and celebrities around the world. However, we feel Amit is probably one of the few people in the country to own as many as five G63 AMGs (obviously after the Ambani family). In the post, we also see his other G63 AMGs parked in the garage.
He owns G63s in black, white, grey, blue and emerald green shades. Some of these SUVs also feature body kits, most likely from Brabus. The G63 AMG is a boxy-looking SUV that appears rugged on the outside and comes with a long list of premium features and a powerful engine.
Just like any premium or luxury vehicle, Mercedes-Benz offers a variety of customisation options for the G-Wagen. It is available with both petrol and diesel engine options, but the G63 AMG is the petrol version.
The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo petrol engine that generates 576 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.
As mentioned above, the G63 AMG is an extremely popular SUV. The Ambanis use the current-generation G63 AMG as their security vehicle, and actors like Dulquer Salmaan, Ranbir Kapoor, Jimmy Shergill, Akhil Akkineni, along with many Indian cricketers including MS Dhoni, also own a G63 AMG. The price of the G63 AMG is around Rs 3.30 crore, ex-showroom.
Apart from the G63 AMG, Amit also owns cars like the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, Maybach S650, BMW Z4 M40i, Ferrari 488 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan Spyder, Porsche 718 Boxster, Lamborghini Urus, BMW 3 Series, Land Rover Defender, Porsche 718 Cayman, and more.
