Here's Why This Owner Bought Kia Seltos Over Tata Sierra
A lot of people today are confused between the 2026 Kia Seltos and the 2026 Tata Sierra as to which one they should buy. So, to help you with the same, recently a video has been shared online in which the owner of a brand-new Kia Seltos was seen sharing his real-life ownership review of the 2026 Kia Seltos. He highlights all the reasons why he picked this SUV over all the other mid-size SUVs, especially the newly launched Tata Sierra.
This detailed walkaround video of the 2026 Kia Seltos has been shared on YouTube by Vashu Singh YT on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger introducing the owner of this particular 2026 Kia Seltos. Soon after, he asks him the details of his SUV, and the first thing which he asks is about the delivery date of the vehicle.
To this, the owner mentions that he took delivery of it on January 31st after booking it on January 18th. The owner highlights that another person had reserved this vehicle. However, he cancelled his reservation, due to which he was offered the car earlier. Adding to it, the owner states that it was the first Seltos to be delivered in Noida, Uttarakhand Pradesh.
Next up, the vlogger questions him about the exact details of the decision to buy the Seltos and if he ever thought of buying the old Seltos or any other SUV. To this, the owner replies that he never wanted to own the old Seltos but had seen it and driven it. As for choices at the time of this Seltos’ purchase, he actually wanted to buy the Tata Sierra.
However, after seeing the design of the new 2026 Kia Seltos, the owner highlighted that he fell in love with the design, and in his opinion, it looks much better than the Sierra. Moving ahead, he mentions that he only had two vehicles on the list: the Kia Seltos and the Tata Sierra.
Moving ahead, the vlogger then asks him about the exact variant and the pricing of his Seltos. To which he mentions that he has chosen the HTK (O) variant of this SUV and he paid Rs 17 lakh for this variant. The owner then adds that after comparing the two SUVs in terms of pricing and the features offered, he noted that he had to pay Rs 21–22 lakh for the Sierra to get the same features.
After talking about the design being one of the main reasons to buy the new Seltos, the vlogger and the owner sit inside the SUV and talk about the cabin design of this SUV. The owner mentions that, according to him, the premium feel which the Seltos has to offer is missing in the Sierra.
He added that in the HTK (O) variant, the vehicle comes with almost all the essential features, including dual 10.25-inch screens, a panoramic sunroof, and a new steering wheel, and according to him, it looks much better than the Sierra. The owner also highlights the physical buttons, and the overall layout of the dashboard feels a lot more premium.
The owner also talks about the mileage of the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine of his Seltos. He mentions that so far he has driven 1,500 km and has managed to achieve a mileage of 15 kmpl. On highways, he also managed to achieve 17 kmpl, which according to him is very impressive.
